Trust what is calling you
Good Morning!
Sahara dust softened the morning sky, wrapping the horizon in warm shades of gold, peach, and copper.
The ocean was calm, and the wet sand became a mirror, reflecting the beauty above as though the shoreline were seeing the sunrise through its own eyes.
Among the familiar gulls was the first black backed gull of the season—a sign that migration is beginning and change is already in the air.
S/he said, “Migration is a natural part of the bird world. Our inner knowing feels like a pull toward somewhere new. Although the journey ahead is uncertain, we trust our instincts and move toward what is calling us. We highly recommend to trust what is calling you.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Fog is just temporary, clarity will come.
Good Morning! The morning began with a beautiful pink and blue glow along the horizon.
Then, almost without notice, a soft layer of fog in stealth mode rolled in. By 6:10am, the shoreline was wrapped in a blanket of mist, making it difficult to see beyond what was right in front of me.
The sun eventually rose bringing warmth and clarity.
The fog brings the message today, “When you feel foggy or uncertain, not to worry. It is only temporary. Just as the rising sun burns away the mist, clarity will find its way back to you.”
Wishing you a peaceful day, friends!
Tales from the Lagoon ~ The Snuggle Is Real
Tales from the Lagoon ~ The Snuggle Is Real
A group of young dolphins turned the lagoon into their own little cuddle puddle—popping up, leaning into one another, and sharing plenty of playful affection. One even gave his buddy a gentle lift with a perfectly timed push.
There was definitely a little extra “boy energy” in the pod, but mostly it was pure sweetness, silliness, and the kind of friendship that makes you smile.
If you watch to the end, let me know what you think of my logo at the end.
Stay tuned for more tales!

Its safe to share your tender places
Good morning!
WOW! The sunrise was breathtaking, reflective masterpiece painted across the sky and mirrored perfectly on the wet sand. The every changing landscape brought us as a soft palette of peach, gold, and blue-gray unfolded overhead.
The flock of laughing gulls were present including royal terns, willets and ruddy turnstones.
After sunrise, Skylar the osprey was perched on a boat at the docks. Isn’t she gorgeous?! I’ve known her since 2018, and when I asked how she was doing, she lifted her hurt foot, showing me exactly where it hurt.
She reminds us, “It's safe to share your tender places with your safe flockmates. Vulnerability is a super power. There is strength in letting yourself be seen, and wisdom in giving what hurts the care and time it needs to heal.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Ouch, my foot hurts

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode-Kisses & Shenanigans
The moms and kiddos swam in for a little family playdate filled with snuggles, splashes, and dolphin kisses. Cutter was in the mix too!
Cutter is a male who seems to delight in getting the kiddos wound up. He is part playmate, part fun uncle, part big brother and loves to get the shenanigans going!
The moms were in the snuggle fest too, offering lots of sweet kisses. Nothing fills the lagoon with joy quite like snuggling dolphins enjoying time together.

Be the safe person for others
Good Morning! Rays of pink light streamed into the deep blue sky this morning, soothing and inspiring all at once. Everything was so quiet and peaceful.
As the sun was rising, a dolphin slipped into a wave, surfing the swell while grabbing breakfast along the way.
Our message today comes from the flock. The feathered friends have a request, "Be the safe person for others."
“We know it may look like fun to run toward us and watch us scatter, but imagine something ten times your size racing toward you while screaming. Some of us are resting, some are feeding, and some are simply feeling safe along the shoreline. Others have traveled a very long way and need to conserve their energy."
"Please help your children enjoy us and give us the space to simply be. Watching us bathe, rest, and chat among ourselves is already pretty magical.”
Wishing you a beautiful day, friends!
Dolphin in the wave
Birds Eye view to get a map
Good Morning. Inhale. Exhale. Repeat.
As soon as my feet touched the sand and I saw the pink-filled sky, I felt an immediate sense of peace. The gulls flew in shortly after I arrived for our usual sunrise bath time, while two dolphins headed north, catching waves along the way.
When the sun rose, the Sahara dust gave it a rich golden-copper glow as it kissed the ocean good morning.
Much to my surprise, the young red-shouldered hawk from a few days ago was back! S/he perched quietly in the tree, keeping watch for breakfast.
S/he said, “I’m a reminder to take the bird’s-eye view. When you feel blocked or uncertain, allow yourself to float above the situation. Seeing the whole picture can inspire action.”
Wishing you a peaceful day friends!

Stop to scratch that itch
Good Morning!
The sky offered a unique palette this morning, with soft lavender, peach, bronze, and gold tucked beneath a blanket of cozy clouds. The gulls gathered for bath time, splashing and chatting as they welcomed the day.
Pelican Highway traffic was high in the sky. 2 pelicans flying together, one was preparing to dive for breakfast when an itch demanded his attention. He paused, took care of it, and then carried on.
He said, “Trust the timing. A small delay doesn’t mean you’ve missed your moment. Sometimes tending to what needs your attention is part of preparing for the dive. What is meant for you won’t disappear in the time it takes to pause, regroup…or scratch an itch.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Stopping to scratch an itch
Be bold and brave, its safe to be seen
Good Morning!
The sunrise was calm and unhurried, with soft golden light spreading across the ocean.
Dolphins traveled in both directions, the waves gently rolled over their backs as they moved through the morning. The flock gathered along the shoreline for bath time, splashing and chatting as the day began.
Traffic on Pelican Highway glided smoothly in both directions. One pelican trailed the tip of his wing through the water, enjoying a little morning wing rinse along the way.
After sunrise a male cardinal appeared among the soft greens and weathered branches, bringing a bold splash of color to the quiet morning. He said, He said, “I am a bold and beautiful reminding you to be bold, step forward with courage, it is safe to be seen.”
Wishing you a peaceful and beautiful day, friends!

Be the warm place for people place and opportunity
Good Morning!
First light was exceptional, with only a sliver of the waning moon suspended above the faint orange glow on the horizon. With barely a breeze and a calm ocean, the quiet and serenity felt ethereal.
Just before sunrise, waves began to form, and the sun rose to greet the day looking like a softly striped Easter egg.
The waning moon marks the end of a cycle, creating space for the new moon and a new beginning. A tiny star appeared just to the left of the moon. I believe it is Elnath—Beta Tauri—the star at the tip of one of Taurus the Bull’s horns. Together, they offered us a celestial message, “Release the battles that are finished. Let go and let your inner knowing carry you forward.”
Just as you might prepare your home for a welcomed guest, become the warm and open presence that invites your next chapter to arrive. Be the open door where new people, places, and possibilities can find you.
Wishing you a beautiful day, friends!

Trust what you see
Yesterdays sunrise….July 11
The Sahara dust was thick this morning, giving the sunrise a warm bronze glow.Mullet jumped in the shallows while the morning traffic on Pelican highway stopped for breakfast.
They slowed down, putting on their brakes midair to align themselves perfectly with breakfast. They said, “Braking is our way to slow time and help us align with the fish below.”
After sunrise, a young red-shouldered hawk flew in. For the first time, a hawk was willing to let me hang out nearby for almost 20 minutes while s/he enjoyed breakfast.S/he said, “The early bird gets the worm…or the snake, in this case.”
S/he went on to say, “ Trust what you see. Have the courage to move when the opportunity appears.”
Wishing you a beautiful day, friends!

Share the waves
Good Morning!
The Sahara dust was thick this morning, making the sun difficult to see when it first arrived on the horizon. The color show was the familiar blend of copper, soft pink, and muted gold, creating a warm, cozy kind of vibe.
Long before sunrise, just as a pod of dolphins was passing by, a ray suddenly popped out of the water. Surprise! The ray reminds us to stay open to the unexpected moments of wonder that can appear in the middle of an ordinary day.
After the sun was up, Two dolphins caught the same wave and surfed side by side. They said, “Ah, the joy of playing together! Shared laughter and connection—whether with your pod mate or someone you meet only briefly—can bring lightness to the moment and brighten the energy of your day.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Share the wave
Trust your imagination
Good Morning!
Before sunrise, the sky was still dark when the glow from the rocket launch appeared like a dream looking like a jellyfish expanding in the sky.
The Sahara Dust was heavy, giving first light an almost black-and-white feeling with just a whisper of pink. As the morning unfolded, the sky slowly softened into bronze, gold, and muted peach.
At some point, rockets traveling into space were only an idea… a vision… a dream someone imagined before it ever became real.
The rocket reminds us that what we dream, we can manifest. Let your imagination go wild, and trust yourself and your visions…... even before they take form.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Adventures await outside your comfort zone
Good Morning! The ocean was calm this morning, making it easy to spot the dolphins moving through the soft waves at sunrise.
The Sahara Dust helped paint the sunrise in rich bronze, red, and gold, coloring the waves as the sun slowly lifted over the ocean.
I’ve often heard the boat tours say the Indian River dolphins stay in the river, while the ocean dolphins stay in the ocean. Every now and then, one of the river dolphins might take a little day trip into the ocean.
This morning, Razor — a dolphin I know from the river — was in the ocean at sunrise, enjoying breakfast in the waves close to shore.
He reminds us that sometimes stepping outside our familiar waters can lead to new adventures, fresh perspective, and unexpected beauty. Razor said, “You never know what magic is waiting just outside your comfort zone.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

A manatee swam toward me, circled around, and then headed back in the direction s/he came from.
I put my hand out — not to touch — but to send healing energy for the many boat scars on their body. Truly an honor when they choose connection.

Easy Does it, Enjoy the moment
A lovely breeze moved through the morning while soft colors filled the sky. Pink rays streamed across the blue before sunrise, gently announcing the day before the sun ever appeared.
The flock seems to be returning earlier this year, and I find myself waiting in anticipation for the “regulars” to arrive.
The sun came up slowly, lingering over the ocean with a bright glow that almost felt like a green flash. It was one of those sunrises that invited everything to pause for just a little longer.
Today, the gulls and a box turtle came together with the same message of slowing it down. The gulls said, “Bath time together helps us be in the moment. We shake off the bugs, the stress, and anything we no longer need to carry.” And the box turtle agreed, reminding us, “Easy does it. Trust your pace, enjoy each step.”
Wishing you a beautiful 7.7. day!

Tails from the Lagoon ~ Island Life.... Pup Style
Yesterday I got to see so many dogs living their best life, enjoying the sand and surf. The lagoon isn’t just for dolphins, pelicans, and manatees…some of the best 'tails' come with sandy paws and happy hearts.
And yes — I offer dog photoshoots too, for pups who love the beach as much as we do.

Follow the current
Good Morning Friends!
Before sunrise, Mother Nature painted the morning in soft blues, peach, and pink, while rays of light streamed from behind the clouds like little love notes from the sky.
One cloud stretched across the horizon looking almost like a bird in flight — ethereal, graceful, and moving between worlds.
And then, before the sun fully arrived, an easy-going dolphin surfaced in the calm water, moving slowly and peacefully through the soft light.
He said, “Let the day come to you. No need to push so hard. Float with what feels gentle, follow the current, and trust that ease can carry you farther than effort sometimes can.”
The sun eventually rose behind the clouds, sending golden light across the ocean and reminding us that even when the light is hidden for a moment, it is still rising.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Relax and trust the waves
Good Morning!
The morning was dark and cozy, with a layer of clouds hanging overhead like a soft blanket. Mother Nature reached into her richest color palette, mixing pink, gold, purple, and orange until the sky looked like brand-new Crayon colors.
When I first reached the beach, not a creature was stirring. Eventually, the gulls flew in, while traffic remained very light on Pelican Highway.
A solo pelican glided by and said, “I’m enjoying a ride down the beach, letting the waves carry me with ease. It’s nice to trust the momentum carry me so I can simply enjoy being.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
