Expect Unexpected connections

Good Morning, Beautiful Pod

With a sky full of cotton-ball clouds and wet sand reflecting every hue, the shoreline became a mirror for the morning’s soothing light. Pink, blue, gray, gold, and orange melted together like a watercolor painting slowly coming to life.

A small flock gathered at the water’s edge, and as sunrise approached, more and more wings appeared — flying in for bath time and connection. Ringer, our black ring-billed gull loves his name, Thank You for the suggestions!

And then… a new pod member floated into view. Against the soft pastel horizon, a little bear friend brought today’s message:

“Expect unexpected connections. Be open to both new and familiar connections drifting into your life.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends.

Commit to feel calm inside

Ahhhhh… the combination of my feet touching the shoreline and the soft pink glow in the sky calmed my nervous system instantly. The colors were rich and steady.

Perfect waves rolled toward shore, soaking up the light show and sending sparkles into the air like diamonds floating in the sky. Pelican Highway was active in both directions, stopping often for snack breaks.

In the distance, a solo pelican circled… then committed to the dive. No hesitation. No guarantee. Just alignment with the moment.

He said, “Go ahead and commit. It doesn’t matter if you catch the fish. Inner calm comes from the decision. When you choose fully, the uncertainty fades. Believe in your vision and go for it.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Stand Tall, work it own it

Good Morning, Podmates!

Mother Nature streamed a spectacular golden light show this morning, rays raining softly through the clouds while the wind whipped the tops of the waves, tossing Florida “sea snow” into the air. The crisp breeze felt invigorating — the kind that wakes up every cell.

The flock was waiting at the water’s edge when I arrived, as if we had a standing sunrise date. They headed straight into bath time, taking their self-care very seriously, getting squeaky clean in 40-degree temperatures.

Several of the gulls are now wearing their handsome dark hoods, a sure sign that mating season is near. And ohhh… they were feeling it. Standing tall. Puffing up. Dancing with confidence as they strutted after their sweethearts.

One of the gulls paused mid-swagger and said,

“Stand tall. Whether you have a partner or not, walk with confidence. Work it. Own it. The way you carry yourself tells the world how to greet you.”

Wishing you a bold and beautiful day friends.

Discovering what you are capable offs a process

Weeeeeeeee!

The wind was whipping and the ocean churned with intensity, bringing an invigorating start to the day.

Huge waves rolled toward shore as the wind lifted their tops, sending salty spray into the air. Even with the cooler temperatures, a small flock was ready for bath time — determined and playful.

When the sun rose, it nestled into the clouds, sending rays of golden light streaming across the sky. The ocean soaked up the sparkles, looking like golden diamonds dancing on the surface.

An immature bald eagle brought us the message today.

He said,“I am a young eagle, just learning about my power. I am curious. I am testing my limits and discovering what I am capable of. Transformation doesn’t happen all at once, it unfolds as I grow into who I am meant to be.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode – Revolving Door

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode – Revolving Door

Yesterday, the dolphin moms and babies were all around. The little ones were tucked in close to mom, nursing and learning.

Daniko and Jasper, 2 adult males were supporting the moms by spending time with the older calves, almost like mentors, keeping watch and holding steady space.

The real excitement began when the boys decided it was time for lunch. It didn’t last long, but it was a rush. Water splashed, energy shifted, and the whole scene turned electric.

A solo mature pelican hovered in the mix, hanging close in hopes of snagging a snack, proving once again that the lagoon really is a revolving door for wildlife.

Stay tuned for more tales!

Use the waves to nudge you forward

Good Morning! With rain just after sunrise, I was surprised to see such a gorgeous start to the day! The flock was ready to connect and get squeaky clean before the weather turns cold for a few days.

Wet sand brought us a reflective landscape, offering a calming and heart-opening masterpiece.

A pelican couple floated along, letting the current carry them southbound. One of them used a wave to take off and said, “Use life’s waves to your advantage. Trust the waves even if they are unexpected, harness their flow to carry you forward.”

Support with a wingman

Ahhhhh… Mother Nature brought us a serene and soothing sunrise wrapped in a soft pastel palette. The color show was so unique, it felt as if she opened a brand-new box of crayons just for today.

A light breeze and calm ocean added to the peace.

It was quite the wildlife morning! The flock flew in ready for bath time while two pelicans floated in the shimmering waves near dolphins surfing and snuggling.

The wildlife showed up in pairs today — two dolphins, two skimmers, and two laughing gulls.

Together they bring the message of a wingman which includes animals. They said, “We flock together and travel in pods because connection keeps us safe and supported.”

Let the waves roll under you

Ahhhhh… Mother Nature brought us a springtime sunrise with warm temperatures and a pretty-in-pink color show.

The flock was already at the edge of the ocean, ready for daily bath time, while Pelican Highway rolled on down the shoreline.

A solo pelican hopped off the highway at a rest stop to let the waves roll under him, bobbing gently up and down in the water. He said, “The waves are fun! All you have to do is relax and let them roll under you rather than over you. Surrender is key."

The sun rose looking like a striped egg before filling the air with a soft golden glow, ushering in a wave of hopeful energy for the day ahead.

Wishing you a beautiful day, friends!

Use your heart to know what is true

Good Morning

With a layer of salty fog, the morning began almost black and white with a dreamy quality to it. The cool ocean rolled over my feet as the mist filled my lungs, soft and cleansing.

When the sun first appeared, it looked as if it were being squished — an optical illusion created by the atmosphere bending the light. The sun wasn’t actually changing shape, it only appeared that way.

The squishy sun brings us the message today. “When things look different than you expected, use your heart as your GPS. It will always tell you what is true for you. Sometimes life looks distorted at first glance. But clarity comes as the fog burns off.”

Let the eclipse burn off what you no longer need

Good Morning!

A fluffy layer of lavender clouds hovered above the shoreline like a cozy fleece blanket at first light.

The sea foam was thick — clinging to the sand and wrapping around tiny feet like soft winter boots. Florida snow, styled by the tide. The birds stood calmly in their foam shoes, grounded and unbothered.

When the sun rose, it poured pink, orange, and gold into the clouds, brushing the flock with warmth. Even though the solar eclipse isn’t visible here in sunny Florida, its presence can still be felt.

One of the gulls, hung near the glow of the rising sun said, “Use the energy of the eclipse today to burn off anything you no longer need, freeing yourself to step into new possibilities.”

Trust the pivot if you have to shift

Good Morning

Ahhhhh… Mother Nature began with an open sky, soft and spacious, and then — almost without warning — a layer of clouds rolled in like a cozy blanket wrapping the shoreline.

The light shifted quickly, as if we were gifted six different sunrises in a matter of moments. The landscape kept morphing, reminding us how fluid and alive each moment truly is.

One of the gulls flew close and said, “Expect the unexpected. If you have to pivot, trust the shift. The wind will adjust beneath your wings. You will always land on your feet. The sky may change. The light may shift, not to worry, like us, you are built for movement.”

Stay grounded while things align

Ahhhhhh, Good Morning!

With wispy clouds mirrored in the wet sand, the morning was instantly heart-opening and peaceful. The waning moon glowed brightly in the sky, surrounded by a soft pastel color show.

On my way off the beach, the sun was perfectly lined up within nature’s bouquet, bringing the message of alignment.

Alongside the waning moon preparing for the upcoming solar eclipse, it reminds us that alignment is part of timing — encouraging us to stay grounded and in our hearts with gratitude, trusting that people, places, and opportunities are quietly lining up for the next chapter.

alignment with your own heart is the greatest love story of all

Good Morning! Ahhhhh… the sliver of the waning moon was glowing softly in the first light as the huge flock flew in, ready to connect.

There must have been hundreds of birds visiting New Smyrna Beach for Valentine’s Day, wings fluttering with excitement as if love itself had taken flight.

We can already feel the energy of the upcoming solar eclipse building, with the New Moon assisting us in personal breakthroughs. Eclipses tend to clear what is outdated and illuminate what is true. They help us realign with our heart’s desires — even if that alignment first requires release.

My wish for you on this Valentine’s Day…. may you open your wings a little wider. May you trust the shifts that are unfolding. And may you remember that alignment with your own heart is the greatest love story of all.

Wishing you a beautiful day, friends. 💕

Trust your intuition

Ahhhhh… the morning felt like spring had quietly arrived. Soft pastel colors brushed the sky and warmer air wrapped around the shoreline.

The flock was already gathered at the edge of the ocean when I arrived, as if they knew something magical was about to unfold. A delicate sliver of moon lingered overhead, soaking up the pink pre-dawn glow.

When the sun rose as a giant golden ball, everything shifted. The flock got the zoomies — darting off and back again, silhouetted against the glowing sky as if play itself had been switched on.

They said, “Be open to spontaneous action. We trust our bird intuition to tell us when to rest and when to leap. You have the same skill — it’s simply a matter of tuning inward.”

Be solid, be steady & Shine

A soft layer of clouds hung over the shoreline like a cozy blanket, soothing my nervous system the moment I stepped onto the sand. Mother Nature reached for her pastel palette again, brushing the horizon with gentle light.

In the distance, the channel markers glowed like quiet beacons in the dark. They brought the message today. "Be the channel marker. Be solid. Be steady. Shine."

Simply stand anchored, offering light so others can navigate safely. When you stay grounded in who you, your light naturally affects change. That is your superpower.”

Play to shift your mood

Good Morning!

Mother Nature painted the sky in soft, fluffy clouds brushed with a pastel palette, giving us a Monet-inspired sunrise.

The flock was huge this morning, enjoying some much-needed bath time and connection.

Two sets of waves rolled toward shore — one further out, one closer in —calling to the dolphins and surfers to come play. The soft light shimmered across the textured ocean- the wind creating art on the water.

A playful pod of dolphins joined the morning magic bringing us today’s message. They said, “Play is essential for overall health. Even just a few minutes of spontaneous fun can shift your mood. We highly recommend it!”

Surrender

Ahhhhh… with temperatures warming, the morning felt easier to settle into. The ocean was calm, offering up perfect waves that carried Pelican Highway traffic smoothly down the shoreline.

So many birds are in town, soaking up the Sunshine State glow. Peg and hook, two laughing gulls hung in place over the sun showing off their uniqueness. Pelicans gliding effortlessly over the waves remind us what happens when we surrender to the flow.

They said, “Life is more efficient when we relax and let the wave carry us. We don’t fight the motion—we trust the wave to support us.”

Stand tall, speak bravely and play!

Good Morning! The ocean was loud and could be heard from a distance. Pelican Highway used the large waves rolling toward shore to glide down the shoreline with ease.

When the sun rose it filled the air with warmth instantly. The chatty flock was busy grabbing a bath. Even a royal tern joined in bath time!

So many messages today, a blue jay couple, a ring billed gull and 2 dolphins playing. Putting it all together, the blue jay couple said, “Together we amplify the message of bold expression. We are here to encourage navigating life with truth, confidence and resourcefulness.”

The ring-billed gull said, “I am a confident bird. I stand tall encouraging you to take a step forward with courage.”

The dolphins added, “Yes to being courageous and confident! And remember to play, because play helps your nervous system relax so you can be brave.”
