Tales from the Lagoon~ Saturday Party!
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Saturday Party!
The dolphins were in a very playful mood today. 3 dolphin came in for a couple hours to grab snacks and relax. One of the dolphin would chase the fish into the docks then the other two would come in from each side and grab a fish. Then they would chill, relax, roll over on their side and just hang.
Later 2 dolphin came in and they were in a very playful mood. they played with a mangrove seed for 30 minutes. The seeds are shaped like a stick and make for a great game of catch, well, really toss into the air, catch it, repeat several times while giggling infectiously.
These two were coming into the shallows to catch snacks in between playing with mangrove seeds and each other. They were full of play and levity, a nice evening for sure!
Stay tuned for more tales!

Keep swimming
Mother Nature used her wispy paint brush with the clouds, stretching them out in long soft strokes. The ocean was calm with small waves rolling toward shore. The temperature of the air was cooler than the ocean and felt refreshing.
As I was taking in the pre sunrise pink and purple glow, a small shark came swimming by in the shallows looking for breakfast. She was very focused on finding snacks bringing us the message of avoid distractions and staying the course.
She went on to say, “I’m here to remind you opportunities are all around, all you have to do is keep swimming and be ready to take action. Use your sensitivity and emotions to guide you. You know in your bones it will all work out.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
I’m speaking at the Hub on October 30, sharing my journey and stories about the dolphin. It’s free!
Rest until you feel ready
Another beautiful day in paradise with sweet colors and soft wispy clouds soaking up the color show. The breeze was light and ocean was calm for the first time in weeks adding to the serenity of the morning.
The huge harvest moon was high in sky unencumbered by the clouds and shining bright. The flock of seagulls flew in their usual fashion, wings spread and hearts open.
So many messages today from the moon, the flock and even a skate. The energy of the moon is still quite palpable encouraging us to surrender the old so we can bring in the new.
A few gulls in the flock said, “We recommend supporting each other, sure we squabble, but in the end we need each other to survive.”
They all hit the water for bath time, leaning into the incoming waves which washed away the bugs. They agreed with the moon, let those pesky bugs go! You’ll love how you feel.”
A skate swam up to say, “Be curious and inquisitive. It’s fun to explore and see what experiences may show up. Like a stingray, I can camouflage myself if I get scared. You can as well, if you feel uncertain, take time to rest until you feel comfortable to move forward again."
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
The slightest shift brings new info
Holy Pink Explosion!
I must have said WOW a hundred times. My favorite day of the month when the moon is setting as the sun comes up to greet the day. It was one of those heart expanding, spectacular sunrises that touched all the senses.
The breeze and ocean added to the feeling of vitality in the air. When the flock of seagulls flew in from the ocean they came in hot, banking on their side, changing directions often and fast!
As they screeched by they said, “We love the wind! It’s fun and gives us the assist we need to change directions quickly. You see, just the slightest shift can give us a different perspective and new information.”
The full moon added, “When the moon is full it can illuminate things that were previously hidden from us. Use the power of this moon to see old patterns, beliefs and relationships that no longer support your highest good."
Wishing you a day filled with illumination!
Tales from the lagoon~ Reunited
Tales from the Lagoon~ Episode- Reunited and It Feels So Good!
After several weeks of not connecting with the dolphins the last couple days have been fun to reunite and connect. Today, two dolphin I know well, came in for several hours grabbing fish and just hanging. In between catching fish they would rest, sometimes rolling over on their side or share a little affection.
They were catching all kinds of different fish too. A young shark and several stingrays and a couple skates were hanging with the fish in the shallows. A couple pelicans came in for a quick bites but left the party early.
Along with the dolphins and fish, Skylar the resident osprey, was active as well. The osprey I call Dot (she has 2 brown dots on her chest) stopped by to watch the dolphins stir up the fish. Today, Skylar, “allowed” Dot to share the lagoon, other days she chases her away, screaming, “Get off my lawn!”
Stay tuned for more tales!

The speed is just right
Another fall weather kind of sunrise with a refreshing wind and a rich color show. The color show started with a deep pink changing to lavender and finally blueberry before the sun came up to add a splash of orange and golden rays of light.
We have a theme today about pace and timing from the flock of seagulls ,a shark and the wind. As the flock flew in from the south in front of the speed limit sign they said, “Trusting the pace is necessary. We know sometimes we feel limits are imposed on how fast we can go, but then the wind comes and carries us fast and far without much effort. Not to worry, the speed of your journey is just right.”
A shark grabbing breakfast swam by with beauty and grace saying, “I’m a sensitive Being. I use my instincts to know when to take action. I sniff out opportunities and when the timing feels inspiring I go for it. I always feel energized when I follow my inspiration.”
Wishing you a day feeling inspired!

Survey before action
A windy and refreshing sunrise with more fall colors to start the day. The clouds on the horizon added to the drama, creating a golden layered cake made from the rays of the sun. The vibe of the morning was powerful with the churning ocean and low light.
The flock of seagulls flew in after the sunrise for a quick hello before heading south. Pelican Highway was active today as well, they were staying off shore and high in the sky using the wind to carry them to their destination.
Several osprey were on the same flight pattern, flying above the shoreline in 3 minute intervals, surveying for breakfast. They said, “We bring the message of taking time to survey our options before taking action. Especially when the waves are rough, we might take a few extra minutes to aim before taking action. We trust our instincts will tell us when to take action so we don’t get stuck in inaction.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Tune in, stay in sync
Fall is visiting for the day here in sunny Florida bringing us a little cool touch to the wind. The ocean was warmer than the air and felt like an inviting hot tub as the waves rolled in.
So many colors too! The contrast of the emerald green waves and lavender and pink sky was truly breathtaking. The wind was blowing the tops of the waves creating what I call Florida Snow glistening in the air.
Piper and her flock flew in to grab snacks and bring us the message of the day. As she was running by she said, “We know if we tune into each other we can enhance our synchronicity.
By listening and being aware of our flock-mates we are able to be more efficient, and the teamwork is super fun!"
On the way off the beach, a vulture flew overhead saying, “Be resourceful about pursuing the current opportunities available to you. "
"Go ahead, color outside the lines to reach your goal, especially if it supports your higher consciousness and heart. Use your past experiences to help you navigate decisions going forward and be assured you are finding your way.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Tune into to each other to be in sync
Stay open despite past hurts
It was a beautiful fall sunrise with a vibrant orange, pink and golden glow. Pelican Highway was jamming, flying fast southbound with the assistance of the breeze and the waves.
Some seagulls were already waiting when I arrived, but most of them flew in after the sun came up. Their feathers were catching the soft pink light.
“When we get grumpy or scared we can be aggressive and hurt each other. It’s part of our survival instincts. Despite the hurts along the way, we continue to flock together, keeping our hearts open. We get it, it’s normal to want to close up in an attempt to avoid getting hurt. We’ve found forgiving ourselves and each other helps our hearts stay open to receiving the abundance of joy. The more joy we have the lighter we feel making life more fun!”
Wishing you a day feeling light and joyful!

Know when to let go
Another beautiful day in paradise with a lovely hint of fall in the air with a nice breeze and rich orange and pink colors. The ocean temperature is still warm and inviting.
So many birds today! The flock of seagulls, Pelican Highway and Piper and her crew came to play, have breakfast and watch the sunrise.
Piper was digging deep to grab her breakfast. She said, “Sometimes we have to dig deep to get to the root of the matter. Not to worry, the reward is totally worth the work.”
2 seagulls were in a high speed chase over a fish. After several minutes the gull with a fish dropped it saying, “It’s important to know when to let go and not put ourselves in harms way. In the bird world if we hang on too long, the bird in pursuit can bite our legs. We have to use our better judgement to know when it is best to hang on and when to let go. Sure we want the fish, but not at the expense of our well being.”
Wishing you a groovy day friends!

Be the beacon of hope
Another stunning sunrise with huge storm clouds and breathtaking reflections in the wet sand. Mother Nature used every crayon in the box, with fifty shades of grey, a slice of pink and rainbow to the north. On the horizon, a buttery golden color mixed with rain pouring from the clouds as the sun came up to greet the day.
The flock of seagulls flew in with the dramatic clouds in the background while Pelican Highway cruised southbound. The traffic on the highway was heavy today, flying in large groups in perfect alignment.
Our message comes from the rainbow and the lighthouse, both universal symbols of hope. They are powerful messengers bringing us the reminder to keep the faith.
They represent the promise of things to come, luck, new beginnings, communication, safety and peace. The lighthouse takes the message to the next level, asking us to shine our light and be the beacon for others.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Let your Imagination soar
A magical morning with amazing cloud art with so many shapes including Pegasus, a unicorn, Aladdin, a poodle, Puff the Magic Dragon and Batman Peace Light Ray. What do you see in the clouds?
We had rain, sunshine and even a rainbow! With the unicorn shaped cloud it was definitely a message encouraging us to embrace our inner Peter Pan and let our imagination soar, feeling the magic in the sky.
The flock of seagulls came in hot to enjoy the sunrise and connection. They kept doing the wave, flying away and coming back in perfect unison reminding us to tune into to each other to create beautiful connections and teamwork.
After sunrise I ran into a warbler, they are super fast and adorable little birds. Although she is little she is a powerful singer brings us a big message of being heard. She said, “Be persistent, sing loud, communicate your heart’s desires and most importantly believe in yourself. Believe every decision and action brings you closer to your dreams, and in the meantime enjoy the moment.”
Wishing you a magical day friends!

Let go to feel steady
It was a wowzer of a sunrise with beautiful reflections in the wet sand, velvety light on the ocean and a cool breeze. Low tide brought us the mirror image of the sunrise giving the morning an expansive feeling. The haze hanging over the shore felt extra cozy and supportive.
The huge sun, gave the ocean a kiss then hugged the clouds on the way up to greet the day. It looks to me like a meeting of a group of people near the sun reminding us things are unfolding behind the scenes to support us.
The flock of seagulls came in after the sunrise to say hello and enjoy bathtime. They were running in the water like little kids excited to play in the water. Pelican Highway was enjoying the huge waves as they cruised both north and southbound.
A few birds came together to bring us the message today. A mockingbird was in a tree singing and talking loudly. She brings the message of tapping into your intuition so you can communicate your heart’s desire. She says, “Go ahead, give your heart a voice.”
Lastly, a little green heron and snowy egret flew in to grab snacks. Both were on the skinny branch but barely holding on. They said, “I know it feel weird but you can release your grip to feel more solid. Trust yourself and the journey. Relax and let go to feel steady.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Evening Sushi Party
A couple dolphin I haven’t seen a long time came in to have snacks about an hour before sunset. They were enjoying some sweet affection while resting between chasing fish.
One of the dolphin came super close to grab a fish. It was the time of day when the huge splash catches the light and makes beautiful water art.
Skylar, the osprey was chasing an intruding osprey who was coming into her turf. I was snapping away at the intruder over head when a gentleman on the dock yelled, “fish.” I looked to my left and saw Skylar scored a pretty large fish and was just hauling it out of the water!
The size of the fish was quite impressive because her left foot isn't able to help much with the lifting. She proudly took it her resting place for a sunset dinner while the dolphin had their meal.
Stay tuned for more tales!

Let the waves wash over
Good Morning Everyone! Penny filled me in on how much she enjoyed consenting with you all while I was gone. It was really great to hang in the trees and it feels good to be back with my toes in the sand again and connected with you all.
The sunrise started out somewhat muted with calm and cool air. To the north, a huge cloud formed a pick circle, giving me the feeling of wanting to ask Scotty form the Enterprise to beam me through.
So good to see the flock of seagulls again! About a dozen of the them flew in as I arrived, then later a huge flock came in for bath time. So fun to be reunited. A few of them were letting the waves roll in against their little chests. They said, “Waves come and go, we encourage letting them wash over you. When the waves feel a bit daunting we highly recommend grabbing a friend to make the journey more fun.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

A message from Penny
(The sunrise post for Wednesday 10.6.21 is before this post.)
Hi!
If you are just meeting me, my name is Penny. I’m head of the Hooman Relations department for Shelley. She put me in charge of the travel schedule, and holding down the fort when she is out of town. Don’t tell her but I’m not sure what a fort is, I just nod when she talks....she talks a lot to me.
Yesterday, she spontaneously decided to go hug some trees.
Now this had me confused because us birds may sit in trees but hug one?!
If you see a bird hugging a tree something went wrong, like they missed the highway completely. She ensured me there was nothing to worry about, that she would be safe.
She will be back in a few days, she appreciates your support very much! Then she smothered me in kisses and flew out the door.
Rest deeper into your legs
Inhale, Exhale, Repeat.
Mother Nature used her fall color palette again with a heavy emphasis on a woozier of an orange glow. With clouds and a salty layer of fog hovering above the shoreline the morning had a dark and cozy vibe.
The flock flew in before sunrise and only stayed for a short bath time. Pelican Highway traffic is picking up for the winter. The ocean was churning and catching the orange light adding to the intense beauty of the morning.
After sunrise, Mikey the great egret was catching snacks and brings us the message of the day. He said,”Us egrets know how to be grounded and centered. We have long skinny legs that may not seem very sturdy but we know resting deeper into our legs gives us a solid foundation. By being solid and present we can take action quickly and grab our snacks.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Flying together as one
With rain just before sunrise Mother Nature brought us another dramatic sunrise with deep and intense colors. The ocean was soaking up the yummy colors adding to the beauty of the morning. At one point two clouds came together to form a purple cloud portal. The energy around it felt amazing.
The flock of seagulls flew in hot and happy. They bring us a few messages. A few of them said, “Just a subtle lean into a new direction can create a shift. Go ahead, lean in, it’s safe.”
They were enjoying some self care time, including napping, bathing and kissing. We are heading into season when the snow birds arrive exhausted and desperately in need of rest, bringing us the message of taking time to restore to reset balance.
Pelican Highway traffic was flying by in spurts. “We know we can fly farther and faster with more ease if we fly as one. Harnessing the power of each other creates greater momentum. For us teamwork is not only helpful, it's a way of life.”
Wishing you a groovy day friends!

Angels all around
What an amazing and angelic sunrise! The almost new moon was bright as I walked to the beach. New moons bring a wonderful opportunity to set new intentions. This particular moon focuses on relationships, including the one we have with ourself. It also asks us to look at our path to ensure it is the path our heart wants and not the path someone else may want for you.
Along with the magical moon, Mother Nature had a special guest appearance from a sweet cloud angel sitting on the horizon who lifted up the sun to shine bright. The angel said, “We are all around, al you have to do is be open to seeing and feeling us. We love and support you."
And if that wasn’t enough the flock of seagulls flew in heart and wings open ready to hang out. About a half dozen royal terns came with the seagulls. Terns are full of personality! They love to talk. He said,”I’m taking the advice of the moon and expressing my needs in a passionate way. My tern buddy is a very patent and good listener which deepens our connection.”
Wishing you a day feeling loved and supported!
