Feel it to heal it

A dramatic sunrise brought to you by Mother Nature. She used a deep and intense color palette today showing off her fall collection. With rain showers around, the sand was wet and the air moist smelling like fresh salty rain.

The ocean was churning with energy giving us a lively vibe. The flock of seagulls came in waves to say hello led my Hook, the seagull. Even though it was dark, he soaked up the light just right making him look extra gorgeous. He said, ‘The more light you can absorb, you the more beautiful you will feel.”

An osprey flew by looking for snacks bringing us the message of slowing it down to experience each moment. She then went on to say, “It’s safe to dive into your emotions, trust you will come up for air. I’m here to remind you, in order to heal, it is most helpful to feel.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Lift each other Up

Today the photos are a combination of the sunrise from yesterday and today. Both days were very similar with Pelican Highway, staying close and flying low to avoid the wind, while the flock of seagulls used the wind to hang in place and connect. Yesterday, gorgeous purple rain streamed from the pink clouds on the horizon.

Before sunrise a cloud formation looked like a seahorse but morphed into two people. To me it looked like one person was supporting the other while they reached out to hug each other.

It seems Pelican Highway, the flock of seagulls and Cloud People have the same message of support and love. They said, We remind you to lift each other up with love and acceptance. Work together to navigate the elements. Keep your hearts and arms open ready to receive love.”

Wishing you a beautiful day filled with love.

Amazing premiere!

Thank you everyone who came last night to the premiere of My Invisible Husband.

Thank you Reel Deal Film Festival for the honor of being the premiere film of the festival. What an amazing night!

I’m blown away by the support. As I witnessed a room full of people watch the film I was overwhelmed with emotion, actually I still am.

The reaction to the film has me struggling to find words. The outpouring of love and approval of the film feels incredible. I am thrilled it was received with open hearts. I’m truly grateful.

I hope to know soon how to share it with more people.

Stay Tuned.

Improvise and be flexible

There were fluffy cotton ball clouds sprinkled throughout the sky.  The breeze was carrying them gently down the shoreline.  The flock of seagulls were waiting when I reached the water, while Pelican Highway stopped for snacks just past the waves.

Sadly, the card I use in my cameras decided to stop working half way through the sunrise, so I am unable to post photos from this morning.  My camera brings the message of being flexible and going with the flow. Let go of the outcome, improvise and follow what feels energizing.

Since I’ll be up past my bedtime tonight for the film premiere, I won’t be photographing the sunrise tomorrow.  I’ll be back Saturday morning!

Wishing you a beautiful couple of days!

Send out ripples of love and joy

WOW! Before I reached the beach, the purple angel wings took my breath away. So big and beautiful!

As I absorbed the energy of the wings in the sky, the flock flew in close super close to connect before the sun came up.

One of the seagulls leaned back mid flight and said, “Go ahead, relax into the moment. Imagine leaning back, trusting your path to catch you. Ahhh, it’s so nice not to brace for the next bump.”

After the sun came up, Piper, the sandpiper stopped by for some bath time. She said, “Even though I’m a tiny bird I have the ability to make a big and beautiful splash sending out golden waves. You see, size doesn’t determine the size of the ripples you send out into the world. The ripples come from who you are and how you feel. Will you join me in sending out waves of love and joy?”

Wishing you a day filled with love and joy!

Easy Does It

With slightly cooler temperatures and a light breeze, Mother Nature pulled out her fall color palette. She used a lovely arch shaped cloud over the sun adding to the beauty.

The flock was extra beautiful today lifting up in front of the sun with wings spread and hearts wide open, bringing the message of opening up to let love and light pour in.

A new One Legger seagull was resting, taking in the sunrise. I asked her how she was feeling and she said, “I just flew in from the north and feel a bit tired. I'm in need of rest to restore my strength.”

On the way off the beach I ran into 2 snails crossing the sidewalk who added to the message. They said, “Trust your pace and the process. Rest is necessary for the body to let go of stress. My snail buddy and I know we may have a different pace, we avoid comparing with each other so we can just enjoy our journey.”

Wishing you an ‘easy does it’ kind of day.

Transformation is necessary to adapt

The pre sunrise was soft and sweet with a lovely pink hue to the sky and fluffy clouds layered on the horizon. When the sun came up the golden rays of light streamed through the clouds into the ocean. The energy felt powerful and graceful at the same time.

The flock of seagulls come flying in hot showing their reflections in the wet sand. Pelican Highway was gliding southbound in front of the sun.

After the sunrise I ran into a dragonfly who brings us the message of strength and change. She said, “Although the wind is strong, my tiny body is very strong, reminding you that you are stronger than you think. I am also the symbol of transformation and change.”

“I am able to change directions quickly encouraging you to be light, flexible and open to going with the flow. Transformation is necessary to adapt and expand bringing us closer to living our full potential.”

Wishing you a groovy day friends!

Another beautiful day in paraAnother beautiful day in paradise! Mother Nature brought in a massive hover cloud to add to the drama of the sunrise. Once the sun was up the cloud dispersed looking like cotton candy floating in the sky.

The dark colors, wind and temperature gave the morning have a definite fall feeling. The flock of seagulls were very active again today while Pelican Highway traffic used the wind to cruise southbound.

One Legger and Hook the seagulls, wanted to be extra close today, using the wind to hover in place. They bring the message of eye contact and connection. They said, “Look past the exterior and into each others eyes, it is there you see the essence of that person or animal. That’s how we can connect heart to heart, through the eyes.”

Tales from the lagoon ~Saturday Soiree

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Saturday Soiree

2 dolphin, Moxie and Whisper, Skylar the resident osprey, a lone pelican and loads of flying fish had a Saturday party.  The dolphin didn’t really start to party until the sun started to go down,  then they started jumping and  chasing snacks.

Skylar was quite busy defending her territory, keeping several osprey and a bald eagle away.  She did dive for a fish but missed, then flew by and gave herself a good shake, flew to her perch to survey the area.

Fish were flying even when the dolphin were off relaxing,  The solo pelican happily spent time diving in trying to grab dinner.  The fish were elusive, so eventually the pelican left the party early.

So much life and action today!  Stay tuned for more tales!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - TGIF!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - TGIF - Friday Party!

It was quite the hopping party at the lagoon around happy hour toady and into early evening. A couple of dolphin came in at mach speed chasing fish. Huge fish zoomed past me trying to escape the dolphin who grabbed the other fish just a few feet away.

Schools of fish were flying out of the water even when the dolphin were not around. At one point, Skylar, the resident osprey started screaming like her feathers were on fire. A minute later she passed in front of me to confront an an osprey with a fish, who entered her territory. The entire she time she was flying she was screeching like nails on a chalk board. I’m pretty sure she was yelling, “Get off my lawn!”

A high speed chase ensued for several minutes! They were bumping into each other in the air, diving, they pulling up like fighter jets, over and over. It was obvious the intruder was strong and an adept flyer, holding onto the fish with just one claw during the entire chase. After several minutes the chase took them away from the may area, so I couldn’t see how it ended. When Skylar returned, she flew over my head and looked quite proud of herself.

Stay tuned for more tales!

Shed light with a new angle

It was a wowzer of a sunrise with golden buttery light raining from the clouds filling the air with powerful waves of hopeful, heart expanding energy. The landscape changed several times making it seem as if there were 20 sunrises in one, truly a glorious sunrise!

I’ve been wanting photograph One Legger and Hook the seagull together for about a week and today they showed up together making that wish come true. They said, “The key to manifesting is to ask for what you want, then let go of outcome and the timing of it coming to fruition.“

The flock was really close and just above my head so I used the wide angel lens to capture their flight. They remind us to look at life from a different perspective. “Sometimes a different angle can shed new light on a stale situation. Take a step back, inhale, exhale and ask to see what it is hidden.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Self love is a superpower

Ahhhh, fall is in the air which means less humidity and temperatures just below 80. The wind was blowing and the ocean was churning like a washing machine.

Some of the flock was waiting when I reached the water, and the rest flew in using the traffic lane and of course obeying the speed limit.

Piper the sandpiper was adorable today. She hung out at my feel grabbing breakfast and taking in the sunrise. For such a little nugget she has a powerful message of discernment and love.

She said, “I am a versatile bird, I know when to walk, run or fly and can change directions quickly. I trust I will know which to use when the time is right. My mobility is cool but I also know the importance to stop and love my refection....loving myself is my superpower.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Resistance is futile

As I walked to the beach the grey clouds were thick and looked ominous. I thought, there is no way there will be a sunrise to photograph. Eventually a hint of pink showed up making the sky look like Neapolitan ice cream.

When I reached the beach I could hear the flock of seagulls were already at our spot. They were squawking loudly as they grabbed fish in the shallows. They seemed really excited about the abundance of food!

With the whipping wind, dark clouds and churning ocean it had a wintery vibe for sure. The flock brings us the message today. They said, “Resistance is futile, don’t fight the wind, use it your advantage. We know how to use the wind to hang in place for long periods of time. Then when we want to move we surrender to the current and allow it to carry us with little effort.”

It’s true, they just hung in place. I felt like part of the flock surrounded by their cute little smiles and personalities. They continue to show me how to relax and be in the moment.

Wishing you a beautiful day in the flow!

Tales from the lagoon~ Cuteness Overload

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Cuteness Overload

Momma and her youngin’ River along with a few other adult dolphins came into the lagoon to play, fish and share affection. Young River enjoyed playing with a mangrove seed (looks like a stick) for about 15 minutes which I’m sure pleased the adults.

River is like most dolphin babies, popping up randomly and practicing going zoom zoom. Being preoccupied with a mangrove seed gives the adults a nice break to relax.

Today River was really loving using her/his tail to thrust forward and dive deep. It seemed like she was seeing just how much she could do! She/he was super affectionate, rolling on the adults giving hugs and smooches, heart melting to witness.

The adults were being very affectionate with each other too, lots of splashing, and rolling around sharing affection. The vibe felt very happy and joyful.

Stay tuned for more tales!

Autumn Equinox brings gratitude

Truly a sweet and beautiful morning, starting with 2 huge thunder clouds reaching out to each other for a kiss. They looked to form the shape of an upside down heart. The absence of a breeze and calm ocean gave us an extra peaceful vibe.

The flock of seagulls flew in after the sun was up for some bath time. They said, “We are celebrating the Autumn Equinox. This day asks us to acknowledge our harvest, shifting our focus to gratitude for what we have, like our amazing bath time with friends.”

“We bring the message of having awareness for our growth and prosperity. Prosperity comes in many forms, for us it is the simple things like savoring the moment, enjoying each others company and sweet connections.”

The full moon was bright and feeling powerful in the sky. A great egret chimed in adding to the message, “Just flow through any emotions that arise as a result of the energy of the day. Inhale, exhale, repeat.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon~Episode Stormy Snacking

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Stormy Snacking

It's the time of year when I start to see more osprey and wow, were they were on fire today, diving for snacks and catching them almost every time. Some were diving fast and pulling up at the last minute like a super skilled piolt. Skylar, the resident osprey was grumpy having to constantly defend her territory.

It seemed like the intruding osprey would fly by with their catch just get Skylar's feathers all roughed up. She would then, leave her perch chasing them away, yelling the entire time.

One dolphin popped in, grabbed a fish and left. Then, Moxie and Whisper, two dolphin I know pretty well came in to grab snacks too. These two hang out a lot together enjoying the team approach to fishing and goofing around together. They definitely have the "best friend" feeling to their relationship.

Full moon brings intuitive boost

Mother Nature is in a bluesy rainy kind of mood this week giving us a cozy blueberry sunrise. Technically, the moon was full yesterday but was hidden behind the clouds. This morning it was shining bright as I walked to the beach bringing us a message.

The moon is the ruler of your inner self, your emotions and can illuminate things hidden from yourself. The full moon has a tendency to bring those hidden aspects to light.

This moon in particular may bring revelations about your past, present and even your future. Like all full moons you may feel more emotional with this one. This one may also bring a boost to your intuition and sensitivity.

Pelican Highway was jamming today. As a large group flew by they lined up perfectly they said, “Even if you can’t feel it, things are lining up behind the scenes to support you. Keep the faith and trust in the timing.”

Big Red the reddish egret flew in to hang with the flock of seagulls. She said, “Sure spending time with birds who are different feels a little vulnerable, but it turns out we have lots in common and despite our different appearance, we get along really well.”

The turtle said, “When the full moon feels intense, take a minute to relax your shoulders, take a deep breath and just keep swimming.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Look for the light

It was a very moody blues kind of sunrise with a blast of pretty in pink for a couple minutes as the sun came up behind the wall of clouds.

It was really dark, so I wasn’t sure there would be enough light to photograph the sunrise. Pelican Highway traffic was heavy heading southbound using the power of the waves to make the flight easier.

When they flew by the channel marker in the dark they said, “When things seem a bit dark, look for the light, it may show up in unexpected places, it is there and will illuminate the path so you can navigate with ease.”

I sat with the flock while we waited for the light giving me the opportunity to connect and chat.

They said, “Us seagulls are all about looking at life from a different perspective. Sometimes it’s helpful to hang in place, arms open, waiting to see how things unfold and sometimes you gotta change directions fast. When you listen to your heart, you will know what to do.”

Wishing you a day filled with channel markers!

Enjoy the current

Mother Nature brought us a fifty shades of grey, cozy morning with a wall of clouds on the horizon keeping the sun hidden. A hint of pink and white light crept through adding to the soothing feeling of the morning.

The warm ocean was great for bath time with the flock. Hook and One Legger led the crew as they flew in chatty and feeling frisky.

After sunrise I ran into a green heron and turtle. The turtle was gliding by with ease bringing the message of going with the flow to feel more peaceful. She said, “I’m able to swim fast if needed but I prefer to roll with the current and enjoy a relaxing journey. I know the timing will always work out.”

Usually green herons are shy, but this guy was social and wanting to connect. He gave himself a good shake saying, “Sometimes when you give yourself a good shake things may not seem clear in that moment. When you are done your feathers will be fluffed, and you will be able to stand tall.”

Be the authority of your life

It was a dark and sultry kind of morning with a wall of clouds on the horizon. There was very little breeze which meant the no-seemums (teeny bugs) were active and thought my ears needed an acupuncture treatment.

The clouds eventually broke up a bit letting the light through to shine on the ocean like a cozy silver quilt. Pelican Highway traffic was heavy heading southbound. As they passed by the illuminated channel marker they said, “We bring the message of looking for the markers that guide the way. Just be open to seeing them light up your path for you.”

On my way off the beach a bald eagle flew overhead bringing us the message of strength. He said, "Us eagles are powerful predators bringing the message of confidence."

"We know we are top dog, well, really top bird because we ooze self assurance. Use your courage and strength to take advantage of opportunities. Be the authority of your life. Release any fear, take a deep breath and embrace your inner eagle. Remember you have everything you need to grab what your heart desires.”
