Timing and opportunity in transition
Mother Nature brought us another sweet Springtime sunrise with soft pink and blues that morphed into a golden glow. The ocean was more like a lake with perfect waves rolling in close to shore.
As the waves crested they remind us about timing. They said, “We bring the message of trusting in the timing. We have natural rhythms and cycles, we encourage tuning in to the waves of life so you can get the most out of the momentum we bring.”
The sun came up bringing heat and a golden glow glistening on the wet sand. Ahhhh, the reflection on the wet sand was gorgeous.
With 2 days of rain, the frog choir was quite boisterous. One frog crossing the road stopped to say, “I’m here as a symbol of change, healing and adaptability. Most importantly I want you to know there is opportunity in transition. I highly recommend being flexible remaining open minded to all aspects of the journey as you keep hopping forward.”
Wishing you a hopping good day!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Record Setting Mullet Fly
In this series M the dolphin tossing a mullet really hit into the air! I’m not sure but it looks like it might be a record for the highest tossed mullet in the lagoon! Click through the photos to what happens to the mullet.
M hangs out with his bestie Charley. They are playful and funny and amazing athletes.
They enjoy playing with the pelicans by giving them bumps from underneath or tossing a fish in a group and watching the chaos unfold.
They seem to really like swimming up to the camera, posing and playing ring around the camera person. The two besties are often seen hugging each other when not on the hunt for fish.
Stay tuned for more tales!

The power of breath
Good Morning! With a storm rolling through, a wall of dark gray was in place of the sunrise giving us a day of rest. I thought I would share sunset dolphin photos. They remind us of the power of breath and friendship.

Be resourceful to increase success
Ahhhhhh, with low tide, the wet sand brought us a heart opening, expansive sunrise to start the day. The pastel colors were soft and soothing adding to the peaceful vibe.
A chatty flock of laughing gulls flew in along with a few ruddy turnstones and a solo egret to enjoy breakfast and bath time.
When the sun came up, it brought a golden glow illuminating the waves as they rolled toward shore.
Several dolphins came into the lagoon for breakfast along with a couple of pelicans. Two pelicans grabbing breakfast bring the message of being resourceful.
They said, “Sure we can get fish on our own, but when we follow the dolphins or each other, the odds of catching a fish increase. We highly recommend finding creative ways to work together to increase your chances of success.”

Honoring All the moms, including Mother Earth And Mother Ocean
Ahhhhh, with a strong breeze the gulls flew in and hung in place while taking in the sunrise. The sun was big and beautiful coming up from behind a thin cloud. As it ascended, it cast a golden hue across the vast ocean.
Sparkles of light seemed to dance on the water's surface, a magical display, as if the ocean itself was alive with shimmering energy.
As the gulls dove into the sun they said, “We are here to celebrate all the mothers, including Mother Earth and Mother Ocean. Join us in a moment of gratitude for our life giving Mothers.
Thank you, Mother Ocean, for your ceaseless rhythms, the ebb and flow of your tides teach us so much. Thank you, Mother Earth, for your bountiful gifts and the opportunity to coexist harmoniously within your vast embrace.
May we honor and care for them with the same tenderness and respect that we hold for our own mothers, recognizing the interconnectedness of all life and our responsibility to protect and nurture our planet and its oceans for generations to come

Very young dolphin calf. The stripes are called fetal bands, they come from being scrunched up in the Mother's womb. They disappear after multiple weeks.
Honoring the Momma’s
I'm away from the sunrise today so thought I'd share Momma Turtles with a couple babies as a way to celebrate all the mom's and Mother's Day weekend.

listening is a nice way to show compassion
Mother Nature brought us a pretty in pink sunrise with another morning of Sahara dust adding to the haze. With a light breeze and calm ocean the vibe was soothing. The sun came up wrapped in the pink clouds looking other worldly.
A chatty flock flew in before sunrise. One of the gulls was very vocal, sharing the message of honoring our emotions. She said, “I’m a little grumpy today and just needed an ear. Listening is a nice way to show love and compassion.”
One of the other gulls leaned back mid flight encouraging trust. He said, “Sure, it can feel scary, but you can trust, let yourself surrender to life and allow the magic to unfold.”

Trust….lean back
And then….
Invite closeness
The Sahara Dust has arrived to the coast of Florida. When the plume arrives it brings a signature sunrise, a muted and hazy start to the day.
The flock of gulls flew in hot in an exciting, high speed chase with the lead gull carrying a fish. Once that was over they came over to hang out and grab a bath.
The sun came up a muted pink ball unencumbered by clouds. The pink light shimmered on the ocean as the light became stronger.
After sunrise, Momma Jade and her baby Topaz, 2 dolphins, swam over to connect and be close along with a solo pelican. They said, “We bring the message of closeness. You see, closeness comes in many forms. Allowing intimate connections can expand your heart.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Momma Jade Saying good morning
You are strong
Mother Nature brought us a pretty in pink sunrise with soft and soothing colors, a light breeze and sweet reflections.
A chatty and large flock flew in early to enjoy bath time before the sun came up to greet the day. When the sun came up as a pink ball, it illuminated the textured waves rolling toward shore.
Pelican Highway traffic was light flowing southbound over the waves while an osprey looking for breakfast brings us the message today.
She said, “You may not know how strong you are until you try. Sure, the fish looked huge but I had to attempt it and look! I did it! I’m the reminder that you are stronger than you think.”
Within you a beautiful day friends!
Seize the day!
Ahhhhh, Mother Nature brought us a beautiful sunrise using fluffy clouds, rain and a lovely color palette to create a masterpiece.
Rain streamed from the clouds to north and south while the sun came up straight ahead. I was wondering who the message would come from today when an egret flew in right in front of the camera and grabbed a fish.
He said, “I bring the message of expecting the unexpected as well as seize the day. I stay focused so I am ready to pounce on my goal.:

Realign toward your heart’s desires
The almost new moon hung in the sky above the ocean as the sun came up to great the day. A light salty breeze added to the soothing vibe of the morning. The aroma of sargassum seaweed filled the air, marking the beginning of turtle season.
A small but chatty flock of laughing gulls and ruddy turnstones flew in for our usual bath time. The laughing gull and almost new moon bring us a combo message today.
New moons bring the energy of new beginnings and fresh starts. This particular new moon is asking us to reset or realign toward our heart’s desires. It is encouraging us to set our intentions, dive deep into our passions, visualize our dreams coming true and watch them become a reality over the next 6 months.
The laughing gull said, “I’m a reminder to keep your heart and wings open, it’s truly the super power to manifesting. Getting squeaky clean daily allows me to stay open.”

Tales from the lagoon ~ Episode - Male Dolphin Mullet Party!
Daniko and Jasper are a couple of best friends who know how to fish. Together they corral the fish under the docks and in the shallows.
As you can see there are several pelicans following the dolphins trying to catch a fish swimming away. They are actually quite good at catching fish this way.
When a lot pelicans show up, I watch the dolphins take turns distracting the feathered tailgaters. Daniko will go for a fish first which gets the flock to chase him, then Jasper can grab a fish without any birds or just a couple in tow.
Best time of year! Stay tuned for more tales!
Let stress roll off
Weeeeeee, it was a windy sunrise giving us a refreshing start to the day. The almost new moon was high in the sky lit up by first light.
The flock flew in early using the wind to hang in place making it look like they were walking on the sunrise. After sunrise we headed to the water to get squeaky clean. A laughing gull brings us the message today.
She said, “Let stress roll off your back, like the water from my bath time. Trust me when I say you will feel much better.”
After sunrise a couple dolphin popped into the lagoon for breakfast. They said, “We highly recommend starting the day with a healthy breakfast and a little fun. It sets the tone for the day.”

Let your fish fly
Mother Nature brought us the kind of gentle sunrise that cures what ails you. With a subtle breeze, and calm ocean the quiet was extra soothing.
The sun came up from behind a single cloud on the horizon lighting up the floating clouds while reflecting on the wet sand.
A flock of ruddy turnstones and laughing gulls flew in with their hearts and wings open ready for bath time. One of the gulls said, “I’m here to encourage daily self care as a way to keep your wings and hearts open. You see, it’s a great way to send out ripples of energy to inspire others.”
After sunrise a school of fish flying added to the message. They said, “Let your fish fly. It’s similar to letting your ducks go, it’s way more fun than having everything in a row. We highly recommend being spontaneous, go ahead leap when you feel the urge.”

Deliberate action
Ahhhh, with a glassy ocean, light breeze and a layer of salty fog, the morning was extra serene. The quiet was palpable and helped my body relax into the moment. The sun came up over the calm ocean surrounded by a few clouds before filling the sky with a golden glow.
A chatty flock of gulls, ruddy turnstones and egrets flew in for breakfast and bath time. The egrets stealthily walked the beach looking for snacks and bringing us the message today.
They said, “We highly recommend being conscious about each step. You see, being present in the moment and deliberate about our actions helps us score breakfast.”
A laughing gull standing next to one of the egrets swallowing a fish was begging for him to share. Egrets are not known for their generosity, so we know how that turned out.

Tales from the Lagoon ~Episode - Spring Love Is Here
Love is in the air and water. This year I have seen more manatees than the past couple years combined. So glad to see they are doing well again after a few years of struggling.
The dolphins have been very snuggly and the manatees seem to be ready to mingle.
One day the manatees were hugging to my right and dolphins were hugging to he left!
The ducks are getting in on the love theme too. A duck couple under the dock was enjoying a little snuggle fest as well! Gotta love spring time in the lagoon!

Stretch past your comfort zone
Ahhhhh, with a light breeze, calm ocean and low tide the morning was serene and beautiful. Perfect waves rolled toward shore calling to the surfers to come play.
The light show was wonderful, with rays of light streaming from the cloud on the horizon. As the sun raised behind the cloud, the light rays expanded giving us a hopeful vibe.
Pelican Highway cruised the waves in both directions, stopping often to grab breakfast. One flew by close with his wings spread bringing us the message to stretch. “I’m here to encourage giving yourself a good stretch. And if you can stretch just a bit past your comfort zone, you never know what opportunities it will bring.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Relax to restore
Mother Nature brought us another reflective sunrise with the wet sand mirroring the majestic art work. The ocean churned as the golden sun came up from behind a huge cloud bringing us warmth and hope of a new day.
A small flock of ruddy trunstones flew in looking for a quick breakfast. After sunrise a pod of Momma dolphins came in to the lagoon to relax and grab breakfast.
They bring the message of knowing when to kick it toward your goal and when to relax with friends. They said, “Relaxing is good to help your body rest so you are ready to kick it when needed."
Wishign you a beautiful day friends!
