Use your emotions to guide you
Mother Nature brought us a beautiful and abundant sunrise with loads of wildlife. The flock flew in with wings and hearts open just before sunrise. They said, ‘Sure we are competitive with each other but we know we need each other to thrive. We are here to encourage staying open ready to lift each other up.”
The sun came up snuggled between fluffy clouds while a frothy ocean churned toward shore. Pelican Highway was active with heavy traffic heading southbound.
5 ducks flew in just to the south of my location but they flock of gulls got their attention and they came over to check out the excitement.
One of them spoke for the team of ducks. She said, ‘First of all, am I not the cutest?! We bring you the message of adapting to the challenges coming your way. Be flexible so you can flow gracefully over the bumps.”
“Trust your intuition, use your emotions to guide you. Not to worry, you will know how to navigate the waves.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - A Day of Closeness
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - A Day of Closeness
Daniko and Jasper, 2 male dolphins stayed for hours in the lagoon. They were joined by 20 pelicans at one point all chasing fish.
It was overcast and foggy so I took more video, stay tuned for the mayhem in action. Until then, the boys were extra sweet and cuddly playing to the camera and hanging close. That meant the pelicans were close too.
I get asked how I keep my camera dry….today there was a lot of fast turning the other way to avoid the splash zone, always an adventure!
Stay tuned for more tales!
Sweet Daniko
Keep moving forward
With a thick layer of fog and a very pink sky before sunrise the morning felt cozy and romantic. First light brought an intense pink portal looking glow on the horizon that spread into the fog as the sun came up.
The chatty flock of black headed gulls flew in at their usual time to grab a bath. Pelican Highway was jamming southbound over the frothy ocean. The striped sun came up burning through the fog adding a warm glow to the sky.
After sunrise, 2 ducks who were crossing the road said, “We bring the message to keep plodding along. Whether you are swimming, walking or flying, stay the course ready to move swiftly at any given moment. If you feel foggy and not sure which way to go, not to worry, clarity is on the way.”

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Wildlife Version of Spring Break
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Wildlife Version of Spring Break
It was a wild and crazy day with all the element of spring break. There was smooching, fine dining, fast food, flirting, and living dangerously.
The pelicans were grabbing fish from the dolphins and the fishermen. A fisherman was pulling in a fish when a pelican grabbed the fish. Thankfully the fisherman knew what to do and got the fish and pelican free.
Momma dolphins, babies, male dolphin and flying fish, there was never a dull moment. We even had a manatee hang around for a couple hours.
He came right over so I leaned down to say hello. I didn’t touch because that’s illegal. He lifted his head up and I almost got a kiss! He stayed and enjoyed swimming around the dolphins avoiding the boats.
Stay tuned for more tales!
Close with Daniko…he has been swimming by close when he’s on his way to catch a fish to get my attention. :) He went to get a bluefish, next photo

Strut your stuff
With the full moon setting just after the sun rise with a layer of fog, it was a very powerful morning. When the sun came up light rays rained through bringing us a heart opening vibe to start the day.
The full moon was pink from the sunlight as it drifted toward the river to set for the day. The chatty flock flew in for bath time which felt more like a polar plunge with a chilly ocean.
The last 3 photos are of a laughing gull drama, so many way to go with that story, what do you think the message is from those 2?
Willy the willet walking proud brings us the message to stand tall and walk with confidence. Go ahead strut your stuff.
Wishing you a beautiful day filled light rays!

Can you see the while angel at top of photo?
I can see clearly now….
With a heavy layer of grey clouds on the horizon before the sun came up to greet the day, the morning was dark and cozy. The full moon was setting before the sunrise and brings us the message today.
Today there is a lunar eclipse which means the shadow of the earth passes across the moon.
The man in the moon said, “This lunar eclipse is especially powerful, activating an opening of energy that will push you toward your destiny. It may also bring awareness or help you see something clearly that was hidden before now. Be open to seeing and knowing what you can change and let go of to bring in the new.”
A couple dolphins in the lagoon after sunrise said, “If the energy feels intense, remember to inhale then exhale the tension. And we highly recommend swimming through the changes with a podmate.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Hear the songs of your friends
Weeeeeeeeee, the wind was whipping this morning! Iron’t love the wind because it makes photographing more challenging for me. When the gulls flew in, they said, “You’re resisting. We recommend going head first into the wind to let it support you. Go ahead and relax into it rather than bracing.”
When the sun came up from behind the fluffy clouds on the horizon, the warmth filled the air immediately along with gold rays of jetting light.
The flock and a mockingbird were all about expressing themselves today. The mockingbird tilter her head to listen to the bird chatting in the distance. After hearing her friend she sang her response back. She said, “Find your unique song and sing it. Take time to hear your friends songs too, everyone has a special song in their heart that wants to be heard.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Whopper Day!
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Whopper Day!
Yesterday the wind gusts were whipping the water was choppy and the sky was overcast. Apparently this was the perfect recipe for a Blufish Dolphin party.
A pod of dolphin swam into the school of bluefish, 3 dolphin came out with bluefish. they were kind enough to let me be in the middle of the chaos, snapping their catch.
I haven't seen dolphin catch bluefish like this since 2020. Wild tines!

Play to shift your mood
Fog rolled in just after first light while lightning lit up the clouds on the horizon. Fluffy clouds on the horizon created beams of light jetting into the sky making a peace sign in the sky. A hopeful and a peaceful vibe was palpable.
As the sun started to peek through a little cloud Being popped out on top of the cloud reminding us we are supported in many ways.
A small flock flew in looking for snacks. One of the gulls said, “I try everything, you never know when something might just be a tasty morsel.’
A pod of dolphin and couple pelicans came in grabbing breakfast together. They said, “Play is a great way to shift your mood. Get your giggle on to lighten your up.”
Cloud Being, can you see the arms?

Rainbows and Dolphin love
It's raining here in sunny Florida. I thought the combination of Momma Sarabi and her calf along with a circle rainbow would be a nice way to start the day.
Wishing you a day full of magic and wonder!
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Dolphin Tosses Me a Fish
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Dolphin Tosses Me a Fish
Cutter and his crew, a total of 3 male dolphins, came in the lagoon to grab lunch. Cutter stayed for several hours while his pod mates came and went.
There was a 3 foot shark hanging around who was curious, circling a few times. Sharks are like those friends who come into a party and you don’t know they are there until they are standing next to you. While dolphins are the friend you can feel and hear before they come in the door laughing.
Fisherfolk have been catching lots of fish, filleting them and tossing the parts in the water. I’m noticing the parts and sometimes whole fish are hanging around where I stand.
Since a baby shark was in the neighborhood when I saw a dead fish (jack) on the sandbar, I picked it up with my feet, then grabbed it with my hand and tossed it away from me into the deeper water.
Cutter came over, picked it up and tossed it back to me! Cracked me up! Playful jokester.

take the step forward
The air was cool with a light breeze and calm ocean bringing us a peaceful and refreshing start to the day. The shrinking flock flew in before the sunrise for bath time.
The sun came up giving the ocean a kiss before leaving and filling the sky with a golden glow.
Piper (sandpiper) and her flock scurried along the edge of the ocean looking for breakfast.
She said, “Take a deep breath and put one foot in front of the other, soon you’ll reach your destination. I’m small yet powerful and a reminder you have everything you need, just take the step.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Teamwork
Good morning! I’m away from the sunrise today. I’ll be back tomorrow….
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Afternoon Teamwork
The male dolphins worked together in the late afternoon sparkly light to catch a snack called jack.
It was a day of binge eating with just a few minutes of rest over a period of several hours. Lots of other dolphins stopped by for quick hellos and some interaction before moving along.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
I’m away from the sunrise today, wishing you a beautiful day!
60 Seconds of relaxation
The wind and sand was whipping today so I left my cameras in the bag for protection.
The flock used the wind to hang in place bringing us 60 seconds of relaxation.
Take turns carrying the weight
The ocean was more like a glassy lake this morning covered in a romantic pink shimmer. So many dolphins and baby sharks looking for breakfast close to shore.
Mother Nature used her swirly paint brush and doubled the beauty by reflecting on the wet sand.
2 pelicans glided over the ocean, dragging the tips of their wings for fun. Ducks flew in front of the sun heading southbound.
The pelicans and ducks bring us the message of support and ease. They said, “We take advantage of calm weather and enjoy the ease of the elements. We fly together to make the trek easier. Taking turns carrying the weight so we all stay strong.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Play and Silliness to spread smiles
Ahhhhhh, Mother Nature brought us a sweet reflective sunrise using all the romantic colors. A blue heron stealthily walked the beach while a couple dolphins swam close to share grabbing breakfast.
The very small and chatty flock flew in for bath time while the sun came up from behind a fluffy cloud. Pelican Highway had a long line of traffic heading northbound.
Everyone was jumping, a leaping leprechaun, fish and even a dolphin doing a gentle back flip. The message was one of play. The dolphin said, "Join me and let's break into spontaneous silliness to lighten your mood and spread some smiles."
Wishing you a playful day friends!

Timing and trust
The morning started out reflective with the wet sand mirroring the soft pastels in the sky. As the sun came up a layer of dark clouds rolled in bringing a cozy and misty feeling to the morning.
The color show morphed from a soft and romantic pink and lavender to a vibrant gold and orange glow.
The flock was there but avoided the water with fishermen lining the beach. After sunrise a few pelicans were grabbing tiny fish for breakfast.
One of them said, “I use all my senses to know where the fish are, and I trust I’ll know when to take action. Once I have the little fish my gullet, I quickly life my head so I can get them down the hatch. Timing and trust are my secret powers when it comes to eating.”

Unshakable courage
AHHHHH, A beautiful spring morning with a slight breeze, calm ocean and reflective sunrise. As the sun came up the wet sand glowed with the vibrant orange color matching they sky.
The chatty flock flew in early and headed for bath time with a flock of sand pipers. We have 2 contrasting messengers, a soft and sweet sand piper and a tough, strong bald eagle.
Piper said, “I can walk , run and fly. I’m a remind to trust you will know when to walk, run or fly. I recommend getting squeaky clean every day your to keep your intuition clear to guide you.”
The eagle said, “It’s true, I’m fierce. I’m a reminder to step fully into to your confidence. Let your burning desire in you help you have unshakable courage. Be an eagle on the inside and watch yourself soar.”

Kick it then ride the wave
The sunrise post is later because there was so much wildlife I stayed to play. Dolphin chased fish before sunrise while sharks grabbed breakfast in the shallows and surfed the waves.
Birds of all kinds hovered above the schools of fish popping out of the water.
First light was a gorgeous copper color lighting up the wet sand and ocean. The shrinking flock flew in before sunrise with wings and hearts open ready for another day.
The surfing shark said, “I’m here to remind you to chase your heart’s desire. You might have to kick it a little at first, then the waves will carry you right to you goal. Trust your sensitivity to guide you.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode Photos of Baby Dolphin Over 2 Years
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Photos of Baby Dolphin Over 2 Years
I met this little one June 2022 when s/he was a new born. These are photos of the little one from 2022 to this week. I’m in awe I have had the honor of photo documenting the lives of so many dolphins over the past 6 years.
I wrote this 6.7.2022
“I’m calling this baby Pax, which mean peace. The momma is Dailia meaning destiny or a strong branch. The amazing group of ladies at Hubbs Seaward who monitor all the dolphin in the lagoon said this is the 5th baby for this momma, so I thought she literally is a strong branch in the dolphin community.
I wrote this 7.5.2022
“This baby is still young as you can see from the stripes. The stripes are called fetal bands which come from being scrunched up in the mother’s womb. Fetal bands and the dark color slough off after multiple weeks. The stripes give us a ballpark of the age.
Watching the baby this week was truly amazing. 5 days ago, she was just barely getting her nose up out of the water then a few days later she was getting half her body out of the water like a periscope going up on a submarine. Then tonight she totally surprised me when she got almost all the way out of the water! The joy she seemed to experiencing through learning was so fun to witness.”
