Soak up the light, there is good in the world

Wow! The sunrise was full of energy this morning. With the waning moon and king tide, the ocean was churning up huge waves, calling to the surfers to come play.

The flock flew in large and chatty, soaking up the beautiful sunlight. Clouds along the horizon absorbed the ever-changing pinks and golds, while Pelican Highway floated above the huge waves with ease as they headed southbound.

The pelicans said, “Soak up the light, flow with the waves, and keep looking for the good.”

My late husband used to share positive stories on social media and end them with, “There Will Always Be Good in the World.” Thanks to Laurie Roberts for sending me this T-shirt so I can literally wear his message.
