Let the waves come, rise above the chaos

Ahhhhhh, rays of pink light streamed through the soft blue sky 30 minutes before sunrise. Waves rolled toward shore, sending salt spray into the air and adding to the soothing beauty of the morning.

The very chatty flock headed to bathtime with gusto, splashing and flapping the bugs away. Two of the gulls said, “We highly recommend playing in the water. It helps us let go of the bugs and old feathers so we feel lighter.”

Wet sand reflected the storm clouds, giving us an EXHALE kind of sunrise.

After sunrise, I saw a Cooper’s hawk perched on one of the buildings, getting a bird’s-eye view. She said, “When things feel muddy, I recommend taking time to float above the chaos and see the whole picture. The power of this viewpoint can bring clarity.”

Wishing you a beautiful day, friends!
