Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Baby Zoomies
After sunrise, a maternity pod popped in for a quick zoomie party. They popped out just as fast as they popped in.
So much energy on those little ones!
Stay tuned for more tales!
Your authenticity lights the way
A breathtaking pink glow filled the sky about 30 minutes before sunrise. As the sun inched closer to rising from behind the clouds, the color softened into a muted golden glow.
The flock of laughing gulls was joined by herring gulls, royal terns, skimmers, and even a couple of black ring-billed gulls, creating a beautiful gathering on the beach.
Skimmers are cool birds. When they vocalize, they sound like little dogs barking, and they hunt by dragging their lower beak through the water, skillfully scooping up fish as they glide along the surface.
One skimmer resting quietly among the flock said, “It’s okay to stand out in a crowd. Be your unique self among others. Your authenticity is not meant to blend in—it’s meant to quietly light the way.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Simply being is a super power
The sunrise began almost black and white with clouds lingering low on the horizon. As the sun slowly rose, golden light spilled across the wet sand, turning it into a mirror—smooth, glassy, looking like we could ice skate across.
A very chatty flock flew in with wings and hearts open ready for connection and bathtime.
After sunrise a mom and baby dolphin swam into the lagoon to nurse and relax. Sweet momma gave little nugget lots of cuddles and love. They said, “The power of simply being and loving on each other keeps our vibe high. Holding a high vibe isn’t just self-care—it’s a gift that subtly supports and uplifts those around us.”
The pelicans feasted on mullet, stay tuned for the full episode coming soon.

Leap, trust, support
Good Morning! Mother Nature brought us a grey and white sunrise with 31 mph gusts. The flock was wild this morning, using the wind to hang in place before heading to bath time.
Instead of sharing grey photos, I thought I’d bring in some color—an unforgettable moment with an amazing pup named Max, leaping for joy with his best friend Snoopy, and a glowing, golden-shaped figure appearing on the horizon.
Max reminds us that we can leap with our whole heart—trusting joy, presence, and the moment itself. And the golden figure on the horizon reminds us we are never leaping alone. Support is always nearby, quietly waiting to meet us.

Hands to your heart
Ahhhh… Mother Nature brought us a serene and gorgeous sunrise—an offering of stillness created by the absence of wind, a calm ocean, and a beautiful pastel color show.
The flock flew in closer to sunrise for bath time. Hook the laughing gull and One-Legger arrived to connect and say hello, while the wet sand reflected the sky’s painting back to us, creating a truly heart-opening morning.
But it was the squirrel on the way off the beach who had the most to say. He paused, placed his tiny paws on his heart, and said, “I highly recommend putting your hands on your heart to connect with your intuition and inner guidance—and to release stress. And, as you can see, it also makes me look adorable.”

Exhale to release stress
ood Morning! The sunrise was crisp, clear, and beautiful. Perfect waves rolled toward shore, inviting the dolphins to surf while the flock flew in for bath time.
As the sun came up, the warmth felt wonderful. Piper and friends scurried along the shoreline looking for breakfast while the flock lingered, soaking up the growing heat.
About 30 minutes after sunrise, four dolphins surfed the same wave—pure joy to witness. In the lagoon, Daniko and Jasper, two male dolphins, swam in for breakfast, reminding us of the power of an exhale.
Daniko said, “If you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed, intentionally inhale and exhale. This is a simple and powerful way to release tension and shift your mood.”

Good Morning! A morning full of technical issues so just sharing a video showing the flock with the sunrise. If you watch until the end you'll see there is more than one bird perched on my head.

Expect the unexpected
Weeeeeeeee! The wind was whipping this morning, burning a chill into the air and giving the flock the full-on zoomies. The gulls darted back and forth several times, then used the gusts to hang in place and connect, like little acrobats suspended in the sky.
The stronger gusts blew sand down the beach like a blanket of sparkling crystals. When the sun finally rose, it brought a wash of warmth and a golden glow that filled the sky.
A cormorant missing a few feathers flew past in that golden glow and said,“Losing feathers is part of the process of growing. Not to worry—new ones always come in, giving you strength for your next chapter.”
After sunrise, in the calm of the lagoon, a solo osprey swooped in and attempted to snag breakfast. Out of the blue, a pelican friend flew in to say a quick hello and added, “Expect the unexpected. Be open to shifts, surprises, and those beautiful connections that appear out of nowhere.”

Deep Breath
Sunrise was grey and white with spitting rain. I went out to see the flock, I shared with One Legger all the love you have for him. He said, "Thank You!"
I thought we’d start the day with sunset dolphins instead—a big exhale to begin the morning. This is a good week to take deep breaths as we navigate waves of energy.
Sunrise should be back tomorrow, so stay tuned!
Wishing you a beautiful day!
Wintry kind of sunrise with the flock
Good Morning! It was a beautiful overcast wintry feeling kind of sunrise. One Legger and the flock join the video about 20 seconds in, slowing it down to help spread calm and groovy vibes!

Hugs, hope and wonder
Good Morning! With rain on the way, we were greeted with a grey sunrise and just a hint of pink. So instead of the overcast sky, I thought I’d share a mix of moments to start your day. Here are a few dramatic photos from earlier this week, dolphins snuggling, a cloud angel, and a rainbow portal. Whether you need a hug, a little wonder, or a spark of hope, nature is always ready to meet you.

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Male Dolphin, Snook and Friends
Jagger and Uncle Larry, 2 male dolphins were in the lagoon off and on for a few hours. The big score of the day was Jagger who grabbed a snook in the deep end and brought it over for a photo op.
Uncle Larry rested out of the wind away from the boats between fish grabs.
An immature bald eagle flew in to give Skylar the osprey a hard time. Thankfully for Skylar it didn’t last long. And Spot the egret looked very handsome with the wing blowing his feathers.
Stay tuned for more tales!

Combined energy of the sun and moon
WOW! The full moon lit up the sky and the Indian River well before sunrise. To the east, a pink sky came to life setting the stage for another gorgeous sunrise.
Hundreds of birds lined the beach as far as the eye could see, ready for bathtime and play. The wind — and the passing bikers — gave them the zoomies, sending them circling between the moon and the rising sun as if choreographing their own celestial dance.
Today, the rising sun and setting moon collaborate to bring us the message, As the sun kissed the ocean goodbye for the day it said, “I am very active right now, sending solar flares toward Earth. This energy, combined with the full moon, may leave you feeling energized, emotional, inspired — or illuminated with sudden clarity. Like the birds, keep your hearts and wings open to receive the full benefit of our gifts.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Full Moon dance like No one is watching
The huge and bright supermoon was setting over the river as the sky to the east filled with a pink glow in anticipation of the sun rising.
The sun came up a golden glowing ball sending red sparkles across the textured waves.
As the sun came up the gulls flew in ready to connect and play. Manny, the man in the moon, brings us the message today.
He said, “The way I am positioned in the sky, I can help you release what no longer serves you so you are ready to start the new year with a fresh slate. Use my energy for mental clarity and self-expression. As you release, trust that new inspiration, new opportunities, and new connections are finding their way to you.”

More beauty from Yesterday
Instead of the fifty shades of grey sunrise we had today I thought a video showing yesterday's stunner of a sunrise would be a great way to start the day.

Hope and magic is always around to assist
Mother Nature brought us a mind-altering, other-worldly sunrise.
Forty-five minutes before sunrise, pink and red colors filled the expansive sky, taking my breath away.
The color show continued to morph as we got closer to sunrise—ethereal shapes in the clouds like flying angels, portals, and giant birds made it a morning to fully embrace your imagination.
As if that wasn’t enough, just as the sun lifted over the horizon, misty rain arrived, joined by a double rainbow arcing across the pastel sky.
The flock swooped and circled around the rainbow and said, “You are entering a bridge moment, letting go of the old and becoming a newer version of you. Rainbows show up between storms and sunlight to remind you that hope and magic is always available to assist."
"We highly recommend following the color. Follow your curiosity. Follow what lights you up. You’ll be amazed where it takes you.”
Wishing you a magical day friends!
Pause, soak up each moment
WOW! Mother Nature gave us a gorgeous, ever-changing sunrise with fluffy clouds, every color of the rainbow, and reflections dancing on the wet sand.
The flock was huge today! Hundreds of laughing gulls filled the shoreline, with a few skimmers and terns visiting for their Florida winter getaway.
When the sun came up, every nook and cranny filled with bright golden light, soothing every cell in my body.
After sunrise, a pod of dolphins lingered in the quiet shallows enjoying a gentle start to the day, bringing us the message of the morning.
They said, “Yes, it’s Monday, but we recommend going slowly. Be purposeful in the moment. Whether it’s with a friend, a moment in nature, or with yourself, pause to feel it. That’s where your energy renews.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Fall deeper in love with yourself
Ahhh, so nice to be back at sunrise again. The wind was lively this morning, giving the flock the zoomies — darting out over the waves, circling back, then pausing mid-air with that gorgeous golden light glowing on their bellies.
The ocean was churning as the sun rose in a warm copper glow, sending its first sparkles across the water.
One of the younger gulls paused to admire her reflection in the wet sand and said,“Go ahead… fall deeper in love with yourself. Another gull landed right on the camera and added, “Remember the power of being the safe place for others.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Lean into the gusts
BRRRRRRRR! Old Man Winter decided to pay sunny Florida a visit this morning, bringing cold winds and a sunrise with a wintry edge.
The ocean was churning with wild energy as golden light spilled across the waves, each crash sending salty spray swirling through the air courtesy of the gusts.
The flock flew in early, ready to connect despite the chill. Leaning into the wind, they hovered in place like nature’s own kites, hanging, gliding, and greeting the day together.
One gull said, “Even in the cold and chaos, there is beauty. Lean into the gusts. Use what life brings to keep you lifted.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
PS ~ I'll be in front of The Posh Pineapple NSB tomorrow from 9 -5 for Christmas on Canal.
