Break out of your routine
Sunrise is for the birds!!! There must have been more than a hundred laughing gulls gathered at the edge of the shore to bring in the new day.
Along with the chatter of the huge flock, Mother Nature used every crayon in the box and a variety of paint brushes to create todays masterpiece. One of the clouds looked like a giant face shining on the shoreline.
The flock who usually return at Labor Day bring us the message today. They said, “We highly recommend being flexible. Use your intuition to know when to break out of of your routine. Letting go of the usual way of doing things can open the door for new adventures that are better than expected.”

Stretch and let go
First light painted the sky with strokes of pink, purple, and blue as soft, fluffy clouds soaked in the colors. The calm ocean and cozy clouds created a serene start to the day.
The chatty flock enjoyed their morning bath while the color show slowly shifted to soft gold and silvery grey, shimmering gently across the water.
After sunrise, an osprey at the marina delivered the morning message.
As she reached her wings forward in a full-body stretch, she said, “Stretch past your comfort zone to let go. Now is the perfect time to release what no longer serves you—so you can feel lighter, freer, and more radiant.”

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Mullet it’s What’s for Breakfast
Yesterday a dolphin came in for a mullet breakfast and connection time.
After grabbing breakfast we hung out enjoying each others company until his bestie, along with Charley, and M swam in and they all left as a pod. Always an honor to have one on one time with a flippered friend.

Slow down to allow transformation
The sky was painted with swirly pink and golden brush strokes against the blue canvas. Venus was visible high in the sky as the flock of gulls gathered at the edge of the ocean.
As the sun rose, small waves rolled toward shore, soaking up the sparkly light. I spotted a solo manatee swimming gracefully in the waves. I waded in to say hello, and the gentle giant swam over to greet me before heading south.
A combination of a dragonfly above the manatee brings us a powerful message. Together, these two offer a powerful message of transformative peace. The manatee said, “I am a reminder to slow down and reflect. Savor the moment.” The dragonfly added, “I am a reminder of transformation. Together, “We encourage a gentle pace to allow space for transformation in your life."

Courage to face your fears
At first light, the sky glowed with a pink and golden hue, illuminating Venus and Jupiter high above. A soft, soothing breeze made the morning feel especially gentle.
A large, chatty flock of gulls — including Pixar and One Legger — gathered to greet the day. If you’re just tuning in, One Legger and Pixar return to New Smyrna Beach each fall. They’ve arrived quite early this year.
A brave little crab, rinsing off at the ocean’s edge, walked straight through the flock full of courage. He said, “I’ve found that when I face my fears, they’re never as big as they seemed in my head.” The gulls were curious but respectful, making space for him as he trekked back toward the dunes.

Lead with love, rise with courage, trust your heart knows the way
Ahhhh, pink rays of light jetted into the baby blue sky as my feet hit the sand. A pink glow filled the area where the sun came up looking like a huge Easter egg.
After sunrise, a male cardinal was singing to his love who answered in the distance. He said, “I am a messenger of love. I highly recommend singing—it helps your heart expand and is a great way to share your love with others. As many of you know, I am also a messenger of Spirit here to remind you that your angel loved ones are close.”
Skylar, a female osprey, was at the marina after sunrise with Spot the egret. Skylar said, “I am a courageous bird. I’m here to remind you to stand tall. Honor your heart’s desires by going after what you want.”
Paired together the cardinal and osprey say, “Lead with love, rise with courage, trust your heart knows the way."

Trust your instincts
Soft, fluffy lavender clouds filled the horizon before the sun came up to greet the day. A pretty-in-pink and silver sheen shimmered across the calm ocean.
A chatty flock of gulls met me at the water’s edge, ready for our daily bath time ritual. The ocean felt warm and soft as the gentle waves rolled by. While photographing the light dancing on the waves, an osprey suddenly dove in for breakfast — wings wide, eyes focused.
She emerged with our message of the day, “I highly recommend diving in to grab your goal. Don’t worry if you miss the first fish — enjoy the hunt, trust your instincts, and keep showing up. The right catch will come.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Trust the stillness, ride the momentum when it comes
Ahhhhh, what a sight to behold. As I reached the beach, pink rays streamed upward into the sky, painting a path over Venus. A smaller flock of laughing gulls gathered at the water’s edge, joined by a few royal terns and ruddy turnstones getting squeaky clean.
With the ocean calm and glassy, it was easy to spot sharks and dolphins chasing breakfast. But the highlight was Pelican Highway — a graceful line of pelicans gliding above the perfect waves rolling toward shore.
Flying in from the north, they let the energy of the ocean carry them. A few dipped into the barrel of the wave, surfing just for the joy of it.
Pelican Highway brings today’s message, “Let the flow bring ease to your journey. Like the waves, life moves in rhythms, trust the stillness and ride the momentum when it comes.”

A time out to feel restored
With thick Sahara sand in the air and a heavy layer of moist fog hugging the shore, the morning felt both thick and cozy, like the world was wrapped in a soft, muted blanket.
Everything appeared almost black and white until the sun rose like a glowing bronze ball, slowly warming the scene with light adding a dash of color.
The Sahara sand, carried all the way from Africa, reminds us how deeply connected we are—oceans apart, yet woven together by wind, sky, and spirit.
A large flock of laughing gulls flew in for their daily bath, chattering and splashing with joy. One of them looked right at me and said, “Remember, just one step at a time. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, slow down and focus on the next step. That’s enough.”
Later, a mom squirrel resting on the boardwalk—taking a moment from her nursing duties—paused to bask in the rising sun. She said, “Stepping away from responsibility, even briefly, to soak in nature fills me back up. It’s how I’m able to keep giving.”

Shed, listen and be bold
As my feet hit the sand, the cloud formation on the horizon grabbed my attention. As the sun made its way up, rays of light streamed out from behind the clouds. The ocean rippled from the breeze as the small waves rolled toward shore.
While hanging out with the flock of laughing gulls getting squeaky clean 3 Ibis flew in to hang out. The Ibis looked like big brother standing next to the smaller laughing gull.
On the way off the beach A very chatty male cardinal wanted to make eye contact and chat. While photographing the cardinal, a ring neck tiny snake caught my attention a few feet away.
The Ibis, snake and cardinal came together to bring us the message today. Be open to transformation by shedding what no longer fits. (Snake) Dig deep to pull out the old while listening to divine nudges (Ibis), so you are ready to be bold, taking heart centered action. (Cardinal)

Stretch and savor the moment
Mother Nature greeted us with moody blues mixed with soft pretty in pink before the sun emerged from behind the clouds.
The ocean shimmered in the pastel glow as a dolphin swam southbound and a shark cruised northbound—each on their own breakfast mission.
The flock and I sat in a tide pool getting squeaky clean, waiting together for the day to begin. Pelican Highway traffic was busy in both directions, with one long line of pelicans pausing mid-flight for a stretch—reminding us to take a breath and soak in the moment before moving on.
After sunrise, an osprey—who I think might be Luna—perched on a boat, giving herself a bird’s-eye view of the fish below. She said, “If you're unsure which direction to go, rise above and take in the bigger picture. A new perspective can reveal new choices.”

New moon encourages coloring outside the lines
The waning moon was high in the sky, deep in conversation with Venus, who shimmered brightly in the pre-dawn stillness. The chatty flock of gulls met me at the edge of the ocean, ready to welcome the sunrise together.
Small waves rolled gently toward shore across a calm ocean that looked more like a lake today. As the sun rose, orange sparkles danced across the water while Pelican Highway soared southbound in graceful formation.
The Man in the Moon brings us today’s message. He said,“As I wane, I make space for the fresh energy of the coming new moon. I’m ushering in waves of creative possibility—yours to harness. Be bold. I encourage you to color outside the lines. Let your heart’s passion guide the way and see what beauty unfolds.”

Shed the old to bring in the new
Pixar, one of our seasonal laughing gulls, is back! He’s been visiting New Smyrna Beach every fall and winter for the past few years. His return brings a sweet message: "Reuniting with your flock might happen when you least expect it."
The ocean was calm, with small waves gently carrying Pelican Highway down the beach. Dolphins were spotted on the horizon, grabbing breakfast, while the gulls gathered at the shoreline for their squeaky clean bath time.
When the sun emerged from behind the clouds, the sky shifted from a soothing pink to a hot golden glow, ushering in a brand-new day.
One especially proud laughing gull caught my eye—she pulled out an old feather and carried it around like a trophy. She said, “Celebrate letting go of what no longer serves you. Shedding the old makes space for the new—and your next great adventure!”

Your sensitivity in your super power
Ahhhhh... With a light breeze and a calm ocean, the morning offered a peaceful pause from the busy world. Wet sand shimmered with the golden-orange hues of Sahara dust, reflecting a warm and gentle start to the day.
The chatty flock was already at the water’s edge, loud and lively, ready for their squeaky-clean bath time. Perfectly textured waves rolled in, kissed by golden light. In the waves a shark scanning for breakfast brings us the message today.
One curious shark surfaced and said, “Did you know I’m incredibly sensitive? My finely tuned senses help me navigate the world with precision. I’m here to remind you that sensitivity is a superpower—when paired with your strength, you’re unstoppable.”

Intution thrives in stillness
With the absence of clouds Mother Nature brought us a simple and beautiful sunrise. At first light beautiful pink rays jetted out across the blue sky. The chatty flock was already at the edge of the ocean when I arrived ready to get squeaky clean.
A calm ocean rolled in with graceful waves, soaking up the golden sparkly light as they reached the shore.
After sunrise, a solo duck was in the pool enjoying a moment of quiet reflection. She said, “In the quiet moments I can relax and enjoy the stillness. It’s the stillness that helps me hear my intuition.”
Uncle Larry and Jagger, 2 male dolphins were in the lagoon grabbing breakfast along with Bert and Ernie, a pelican duo.
Uncle Larry looks like his pectoral fin has a chunk missing. He does have a healed shark bite so I’m wondering if that’s when that happened. He reminds us just how resilient we are. If you are just tuning in, stay tuned for more about this cool guy.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
