Align with your heart’s desire

The almost new moon was bright in the lavender sky as I walked to the beach. The new moon is still a few days away but the energy can be felt now. New moons bring us fresh starts, and beginnings.

This morning, both Venus and Mars are close to the new moon which encourages us to follow our heart’s desire. They ask us to open to new love, new abundance, new desires and renewed vitality. This particular moon asks us to ensure we are lined up with our best self moving forward, reminding us to be compassionate with ourselves and others.

The flock of seagulls had bath time in the surf, letting the waves carry them in then back out. With warm air and a clam ocean it felt like a lovely spa day.

After the sunrise I ran into a pelican and Mikey the great egret. The pelican brings the message of downtime. She said,”Enjoy a little guilt free quiet time. You see, quiet time helps to integrate life lessons and reboot our system so we ready to go with more energy.”

Mikey had his mating plumage on and was looking very handsome, don’t you think? He said, “Go ahead put on your dancing shoes, your fancy pants and show off your beauty, even if it is just around your house.”

Wishing you a groovy day day friends!

Leap forward with full transparency

Ahhhh, a soft pretty in pink sunrise. Dolphins swam in the distance before the sunrise, enjoying the calm ocean. Perfect waves rolled toward the shore soaking up the sweet color.

A light layer of fog rolled in as the sun came up then dissipated adding to the cozy vibe.

The sun came up snuggled in a tuft of clouds looking like a golf ball head up, ready to go.

The flock came in for bath time and were really loud as they all talked at the same time. One of them brings the message of getting a running start. She said,”It’s fun to just go for it with a running start. The momentum helps push me forward.”

After sunrise I ran into Penny the pelican who brings the message of leaping forward with full transparency. She said, “I find it helps to be open and ready for action at any time. You see, the more present I am in the moment, the easier it is to spring into action when the time is right. Letting myself be seen isn’t always easy but I know transparency is better than hiding in the end.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Be the peace you want to see in the world

The fog was even heavier this morning bringing us an almost black and white sunrise with a dash of golden and pink. The ocean was calm for the first time in weeks adding to the serenity of the morning.

It was a heart centered sunrise starting with a visit from a pelican. He flew in as I arrived to the waters edge. He grabbed a fish then became very still, looking at the ocean.

He said, “I bring the message of taking moments of stillness to calm the mind and nervous system. Those zen moments help boost your immune system and really can impact those around you. I highly recommend being the peace you want to see in the world.”

After the pelican left, the flock of seagulls along with Tiger the Heermann’s gull flew in with wings and heart wide open ready for love. We spent lots of time together hanging out enjoying each others company.

On the way off the beach I had a long chat with a very sweet squirrel. She was spread out on the tree with the sunrise reflecting in her eyes. She put her little paw to her heart and said, “Stay open, even when you feel scared let your heart be open. I get it, I run when I get scared too, but I also know the power standing still and being love. Oh, and don’t hoard your nuts!”

Wishing you a day filled with love!

Step back and wait for clarity, it always comes

A thick blanket of fog covered everything as I walked to the beach. The moist air was cool and refreshing feeling healing in my lungs.

The sunrise was difficult to see at first, bringing us the theme of clarity for the message. The sun and moon got together to remind us when we feel things are fuzzy or dark, wait for the haze to fade, not to worry, clarity always comes.

The flock of seagulls flew in hot and loud. They came at mach speed slamming on the brakes with wings and hearts open reminding us to stay up to let the light pour in. Tiger the Heermann’s gull was in the flock this morning too!

As he flew in circles he passed a beach walker bringing us more about clarity. He said, “Sometimes our perspective can be distorted making things look and feel larger than they are. Relax, step back and wait for clarity before moving forward.”

Wishing you a day of clarity!

You have the tools and skills to take action

Ahhhh another cozy foggy sunrise brought to you by Mother Nature. The sun was hugged by the fog as it came up surrounded by a subtle pink hue. The flock of seagulls appeared through the fog looking like little dots.

As they approached I saw Tiger the Heermann’s gull from California with them. He stayed with the flock for a while then joined me in the river with the dolphins and pelicans for snacks.

After sunrise, Danika the dolphin came in close and fast to grab snacks. She stayed for an hour to connect with her pod mates, relax and have breakfast. She brings the message of friendship and trust, reminding us to hold a safe place for our loved ones.

A stingray also hung out this morning. She said, “I’m here to let you know everything is in place, you have the tools and skills to take action."

"No need to hesitate, and remember the wisdom of the pelican, sometimes you have a dive a few times before grabbing your goal. Have faith in your abilities and follow your inner guidance. Stay the course my friends, you got this!”

Wishing you a groovy day!

Harmonious relationships

Another lovely day here in paradise with more fog bringing us a cozy start the day. A golden orange color filled every nook and cranny in the sky.

The flock of seagulls was huge and boisterous as they flew in for bath time. We enjoyed getting squeaky clean as the sun came up above the churning ocean.

AS I was photographing the sun, I thought about the date being 2.22.2022. The number 2 symbolizes the energy of duality, partnership, relationship and balance. With all those 2’s, we are encouraged to find compromise, compassion, and harmony.

The wildlife agree and showed off their harmonious partnerships. A few pelicans flew in super close to grab snacks together along with a solo seagull friend. They were all working together to stir up breakfast.

Despite the seagull bugging one of the pelicans, he didn’t lose his temper, staying in the mode of compromise by sharing his space.

Wishing you a harmonious and balanced day!

Tales from the Lagoon~ Episode- Sunset Hanging with Friends

We had a sweet sunset with Danika, Whisper, Charlie and a mom and her youngin' who all came to connect and hang out as the sun went down. A few pelicans joined in hoping the dolphins would stir up dinner.

The dolphins were pretty relaxed, with just a few fish chases and a short frisky playtime, they were just enjoyed hanging out. After the sun was gone and the light was low, the little one popped out of the water to end a perfect day.

At one point I felt something in the sky and snapped a few photos of a cloud, check out the last photo and let me know if you see anything.

Sweet dreams friends!

FYI….The sunrise for 2.21.22 is before this post.

Open hearted to get the most our of life

A heavy layer of salty fog filled the air giving us a cozy start to the day. The ocean churned as the sun came up to bring us warmth and burn through the fog. At first the sun looked squished by the fog but it eventually filled out into a giant golden light ball.

The sun brings us the message of shining bright to burn through the fog. Fog is just temporary, dissipating with the warmth of sunlight. The flock of seagulls were their usual sweet selves, wings and hearts open, walking on sunshine.

They said, ‘Us birds have quite a bit of trauma, despite the broken legs and missing limbs we know keeping our hearts open is the best way to get the most out of life.”

After sunrise, the pelicans were having a grand time at the breakfast buffet while a pod of dolphins were enjoying a little relaxing and affection in the calm water. They remind us to take time for affection, and sweet connections.

Wishing you a sweet day friends!

Digging deep, stay the course

Sweet fluffy clouds were floating along the horizon soaking up the colors as I reached the beach. The wind and ocean brought us a vibe of vitality.

The flock of seagulls arrived at their usual time, showing off their cute personalities in front of the moon. They encourage us to look at life from a different perspective to gain new insights and awareness.

As the sun came up light ray jetted through the clouds looking like a hand before it burst in a golden ball of light bringing us warmth.

After sunrise, while in the river a cormorant and an ibis were hanging out. In my experience they are both shy making it quite a special morning to connect with these 2 feathered friends.

The Ibis encourages us to dig deep. She said, “Not everything we need to know is on the surface, sometimes going deep is the best way to see more clearly.”

The cormorant is a versatile bird, able to fly and dive deep, holding its breath for up to a minute. Some fishermen consider seeing a cormorant good luck. They are clever and focused birds, knowing what they want and diving for it with determination. He said, ”I’m here to remind you to stay the course, keep your focus on your hearts desire.”

Life has phases, I trust my process

With wind and rain at the time of the sunrise, Mother Nature brought us a mix of fifty shades of grey, moody blues, pretty in pink with blueberry cream topping to start the morning.

The flock of seagulls flew in using the traffic lane. At first they were in perfect formation but as they approached they had a small pile up. They said, “Not to worry when things feel clogged up, congestion is just temporary, it’s just a matter of time before you feel in the flow again.”

The clouds continued to change colors as the morning progressed leaving a sliver of pink on the horizon. The flock was able to hang in place courtesy of the wind. They were so chatty and adorable as they hung in place. They said, “Use your surroundings to support you. Like a sailboat, we use the wind to our advantage.”

One Legger and Hook got close today showing off their head colors reminding us life has phases. One legger with a speckled head said, “Us birds get our mating colors at different times, I’m not behind because my head isn’t black, my timing is perfect for me. I’m trusting my process.”

Wishing you a cozy and beautiful day friends!

We have the ability to heal and renew

What a sweet start to the day with cozy fog and fluffy clouds feeling like a warm hug. The salty fog felt extra soothing. The pink color show with soft clouds made it feel like a refreshing spring morning.

More of the flock of seagulls have black heads which means they will be leaving soon. One of the gulls stayed after bath time to hang out. She is very soulful being, showing me the sunrise through her eyes. She said, “I find looking at life through the lens of another gives me different perspectives. about life.”

Several starfish were washed up on the beach. Starfish are a symbol of divine love and inspiration. With so many at the waters edge, the message for the day was amplified.

They bring the message of regeneration, and vigilance. They remind us we have the ability to heal, restore and fill ourselves up with what we need.

Wishing you a day of renewal.

Harness your passion to soar

It was raining as I walked to the beach. The mixture of salty fog and rain felt good in my lungs. The ocean was churning with strength. The huge full moon was high in the sky with a sweet pink background.

When the flock of seagulls flew in they surrounded the moon bringing us the message to embrace the energy of the moon. One Legger and Hook were extra chatty, which was nice, it seems like a while since they wanted to connect.

Hook said, “The full moon can amplify our emotions and illuminate patterns for us to see more clearly. This particular moon is asking us to harness our passion, creativity and confidence in a way that supports our heart and journey. Embrace the energy so you can soar even higher.”

Bath time seemed to bring a little romance between a bird couple. They shared kisses and splashes. Really sweet to see the love.

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Move toward your destiny

The beautiful full moon was setting as the sun was coming up from behind a wall of clouds. The sun was radiating gorgeous golden light beams from behind the mountain shaped clouds, filling the air with a vibe of love and light. The color show stayed simple, with just a splash of gold and pink.

Pelican Highway traffic was light flying closer to the moon than the sun. The flock of seagulls came in just as the sun was peeking through the clouds.

The message today comes from the full moon called the Snow Moon. This full moon is positioned in the sky in a place that asks us to follow what is inspiring and energizing.

The moon is asking us to celebrate our playful and creative side helping us to expand our heart. It reminds us we have the courage and skills necessary to move forward toward our destiny.

Wishing you a creative day!

Trust comes from within

As I walked to the beach I could see the sky was filled with fluffy cotton ball clouds floating across the sky surrounded by soft pastel brush strokes. The sun came up from behind the cloud puffs streaming golden light and warmth. The vibe of the morning was one of hope and serenity.

The very chatty flock flew on time to enjoy our daily debugging. A few skimmers, a solo egret and a flock of sandpipers joined us.

A skimmer brings us the message of the day. Skimmers are pretty shy birds. As I gently got a little closer, instead of running or flying away, the skimmer looked right at me and spread his wings.

He said, “Allowing others to get close comes from trusting ourselves, not the other person or bird. You see, it’s about tuning in and listening to know who we can trust.”

I am always honored when they allow me to hang, connect and photograph their sweet souls. Wishing you a beautiful day with sweet connections.

Use your intuition to know what is real

WEEEEEEEEEE! It was a windy sunrise with 26 MPH gusts with a bit of a chill. The energy was invigorating, feeling like all my cells were waking up with a happy dance. A deep orange glow filled the sky just above the ocean as huge flock of seagulls flew in for bath time.

They were their usual chatty and adorable selves as we hit the waves to get squeaky clean. I know I say this a lot but I love the flock. My heart wants to burst open with how much love I have for them. They bring so much joy and connection with their cute personalities. They remind us love is an energy we can share with everyone.

After sunrise I ran into an osprey hanging out on boat. He said, “I bring the message of listening to your inner Garmin (GPS) to know when something isn’t real. You see, you can trust your gut to tell you when a person, situation or experience feels a little off. I highly recommend listening to your intuition, it really is your superpower.”

Wishing you a day filled with love!

Love to you from the flock

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Love In the Water

So much sweetness today in the water. Momma Jade and her latest baby, along with a couple other moms and their calves came in to grab snacks under the docks.

The adults were slapping the water to get the fish moving while the little nuggets were doing their best to chase the fish with the other adults.

Meanwhile a pelican and a seagull were having an intimate sushi lunch. The pelican was being so patient while the seagull reached over to take a few fish out his beak.

Stay tuned for more tales!

Let go and be free!

The sunrise brought us a sweet pastel sunrise with fluffy clouds soaking up the wider array of colors. Mother Nature speaks the universal language of love and in honor of love this morning a heart appeared in the clouds. Mother Nature reminds us love is state of being and not limited to just romance. It is available to all of us, all the time, just tune in and receive.

Pelican Highway was jamming in both directions, enjoying the perfect waves and light breeze. The bring the message of harnessing the energy in the moment to provide a sense of ease with the journey.

The flock of seagulls were full of joy today, running into waves head first with wild abandon. They were splashing around like little kids enjoying the warm weather and each other. One of them came out of the water and lifted up with his feet out and wings back saying, “Let go! Be free and play!”

Wishing you a day filled with love and play!

Share resources for success

Ahhhhhhhh, a gorgeous spring like morning almost no breeze and a calm ocean. Mother Nature used her wispy paint brush this morning, painting the sky with soft pastel brush strokes. The big ball of light came up adding more color to the morning and welcome heat.

The flock of seagulls were extra cute at bath time. We had so much fun getting squeaky clean, they said,”Bathing is way more fun with friends.” We were all surprised when a pelican flying by, slammed on the brakes and joined us for breakfast and bath time. She said, “Be open to the unexpected.”

The seagull flew right over to the pelican with excitement then argued over who got to be his breakfast buddy. They eventually worked it out that they would both hang out with the pelican.

They bring us the message of compromise. They went on to say, “We know sharing our resources is the best way for us to survive. It’s true, we squabble a lot but in the end we know working together helps us all.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Embracing the cycles of life

Yippppeeeeeeee!

The sun came out to shine bright this morning. The air was crisp and chilly with a yummy salty layer of fog hovering above the ocean. The flock of seagulls flew in hot and chatty at their usual time.

One of the seagulls flew in super fast, slammed on the brakes by throwing his feet out and opening his wings so he changed directions on a dime. He said,”Be open to changing directions, in a way that might surprise you. Flexibility brings ease and abundance.”

Tiger the Hermann’s gull came in late. His energy is so strong I felt him before I saw him. He reminds us to step fully into our personal power, using our confidence to make an entrance.

One of the other gulls with an almost black head said, “Us birds roll with the rhythms and cycles of life. You see, when our heads turn fully black, that means we are ready to mate and will be leaving sunny Florida to head north. We encourage embracing life cycles as a way to feel happy and boost your immune system.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
