Expand your awareness
Mother Nature brought us a Florida winter sunrise with overcast skies and a moist chilly breeze. The ocean was churning with white caps contrasting the moody bluesy sky.
It was an amazing bird morning starting with Tiger, Hermann’s gull from California having breakfast with 2 pelicans. Tiger reached over and pulled the little fish right out of the pelicans beak. He brings us the message of thinking outside and box.
Tiger stepped out of the water and chatted with me for a long while. As he reached down to pull a bug off his chest he said,”It’s important not to let the bugs stay on my heart. You see if they build up it’s harder to stay open.”
About that time the flock of seagulls flew in wings and hearts open saying, ‘YES! Open your heart to receiving love.”
After sunrise I ran into 2 falcons! How exciting! They said,”We bring the message of sitting in your power. Positive opportunity and changes are available, be in the moment ready for quick action.”
One of them turned his head the opposite direction of his body saying, “Look in every direction to how how to take action moving forward. It’s best to be centered in the moment while expanding your awareness to see opportunities all around.”
Wishing you a wonderful day friends!
Wings and hearts open to receive love
Turn fears into your strengths
We are having another overcast moody blues kind of sunrise. I decided to share photos from last year February to share a little sunshine in your day.
I’m sharing a sweet baby shark as our messenger. This sweet shark was caught by a fisherman who brought him in, unhooked him, gave him a kiss then released him with gentle care. The fisherman reminds us how we can be kind even when something might be scary or feel threatening.
The shark reminds us to take action toward our goals. He said, “Keep swimming…..moving forward. When you feel uncertain, keep your focus on your strengths. Shifting your perspective can help you turn your fears into your strengths.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the lagoon ~ Friendships
Tales from the Lagoon~ Episode -Friendship
What of the things I love the most about hanging in the lagoon is seeing the friendship that develop.
A few days ago, I had the pleasure of hanging with several pelicans while they were grabbing teeny fish. One seagulls joined in and attached himself to one of the pelicans. The pelican was extremely patient and shared a few fish with his little friend.
The dolphin I call Danika stopped by to grab snacks and connect. She did her usual speed racer action to grab a few mullet. We had some nice quality time together just relaxing in the sunshine. I’m grateful for the friendship.
Stay tuned for more tales!

Utilize the wisdom of your past
With a heavy layer of moist fog and overcast skies, the morning was practically in black and white. The hint of color came from the sea oats and wildlife. As my feet hit the icy water, the flock of seagulls came flying in hot and chatty!
Pelican Highway traffic was light with a few stopping to grab snacks close to shore. They bring the message of diving in with grace. As the pelican turned to prepare to dive he said, “Go ahead, dive in, what do you have to lose? If you miss the fish, you just dive again. Besides, diving is half the fun!”
After sunrise a turtle was floating by the dock. She looked up and said, “I bring the message of walking your path in peace. Pace yourself so you can stay the course. I’m also a symbol of ancient wisdom, encouraging you to utilize the wisdom of your past to stay emotionally strong and determined.”
Wishing you a cozy day friends!

Rest and flow
We are having another overcast sunrise this morning. For our morning post I mixed together a few recent sunrise and sunset photos bringing the message of rest and going with the flow.

Love fest at sunset
We are having a fifity shades of grey morning so thought I’d share the sunset from last night. It was Friday night date night in the lagoon at sunset and loads of sweet fun!
3 dolphins, Danika and 2 friends started off the evening with some affection including sweet kisses and hugs. Since it was date night, the dolphins and pelicans were grabbing fish together, ah, a lovely sunset sushi date.
The 3 dolphins left for about 20 minutes. Danika returned to spend some quality time with me. We hung out together watching the sun disappear for another day. Just a reminder the dolphins choose to interact, it is always on their terms.
They bring us the message that sweet love and connections come in many forms. Love is more than romance. Love is all around, just tune your inner radio station to receive the signal and see what shows up.
Wishing you a loving day friends!

Hi

We can get through the fog together
With little breeze to move the fog along, the cool thick mist hung over the shore line giving us a very cozy sunrise. The color show was black and white until the sun came up blasting the fog with a golden shower.
The fog and sunlight encourage us to let the light burn through any fog we feel lifting the heaviness, not to worry clarity will come.
The flock of seagulls were so darn cute today, their little personalities coming through. One of them said as she was giving herself a good shake, “Go ahead, shake off the stress so you can enjoy the weekend.”
I was invited to a post sunrise sushi rave with the pelicans. A few seagulls were in the mix working the relationship to get breakfast too.
As I was watching a pelican and laughing gull grab snacks, from out of the blue, Tiger, the Heermann’s gull flew in full of moxie! The laughing gull feeling the intensity flew away quickly. The pelican had quite the look of surprise on his face.
They bring us the message of being open to unexpected joyful people and events. Out of the blue connections can be fun and exciting.
Wishing you a day full of light!

Easy does it and a rescue
With a light layer of cool misty fog hanging over the shore, the energy of the morning was soft and sweet. The flock of chatty seagulls flew in at the usual time.
When the sun came up it looked like it was being squished between the ocean and the clouds. He sun said, “Sometimes, our perspective can be distorted, if you feel confused, step back and wait for clarity.”
The flock enjoyed bath time and added to the message saying, “One step at a time, nice and easy, no need to rush.”
A pod of dolphin cruised by after sunrise, they were enjoying a leisurely pace. They said, “Island time is a real thing. Take it easy, relax into the moment and soak in the wonder all around. Not to worry, you will accomplish everything on your list."

After sunrise we had a bird rescue 911
The sunrise crew came together again to save this little nugget. A team of kind hearted people working together!
A sunriser couple spotted him in distress, another sunriser made the call for help, another sunriser picked up the bird and took it to a the initial sunrise couple for transport to the hospital. Great teamwork!
I love our sunrise crew!
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
One step at a time, nice and easy
Rest into your strengths
Mother Nature used every crayon in the box today! The wall of clouds soaked up the mixture of colors giving us an awe inspiring, breathtaking start to the day. A layer of salty fog hung over the shore adding to the serenity vibe.
One legger and her crew flew in hot and chatty. There is something about One Legger and her power poses. She brings the message of strength especially in the midst of adversity. She said, “Rest into your strengths to give you the confidence to stay the course, you are stronger than you know.”
The skimmers were also active again today. One flew by grabbing snacks and said, “Melt deeper into the moment so things slow down around you. When you are grounded and open, that’s when the magic happens.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Flexibility and willingness is key
It felt like a spring day with a pretty in pink sky, light breeze and calm ocean. The energy felt light and fun! So many birds adding to the joy of the morning. The flock of seagulls was huge and loud as they came from the south.
The waves were catching the soft light as they rolled in, illuminating the fishy surfing the waves. Can you find the samurai figure in one the waves?
The skimmers were very active today, flying back and forth the entire morning. They drag their beak through the water scooping up breakfast. They are normally shy but today, they included me in the flock. Their eyes are hidden in their black feathers so when one flew by with a fish and looked right at the camera my heart melted.
They bring us a lots of messages. They said, “We know how to change direction on a dime without notice. Our flexibility and willingness to go with the flow helps us catch our fish."
"We look like a bird ballet flowing in unison like a synchronized swim team. You see, we tune into each other to tap into the strength of each other making us a powerful team yet maintaining our individuality.”
Wishing you a beautiful day in the flow!

Look from a different angle to get perspective
With a chill in the air and light breeze the morning was serene. An orange glow filled the pre sunrise sky. As the sun came up the flock of seagulls and skimmer became active, dashing off in front of the sun.
The ocean was calm except for the perfect surfing waves. 2 dolphin cruised by going northbound before the sun came up. They surfed one wave bringing us the message of spontaneous play even if it just for a minute.
The seagulls bring the message of looking at things from a different perspective. The seagull who looks like he sitting on the sun said, “In reality the sun is huge but in this image, it looks like I pooped a golden egg. I’m a reminder to be open to seeing things in a new light.”
A vulture locked eyes with me as he flew by. He said, “I’m here to remind you to choose the path which supports your heart and higher consciousness. Like the seagulls I encourage looking at things from a different angle to get clarity, then move forward with flexibility.”
Wishing you a happy day friends!

Tuning in to stay healthy
Ahhhh, another gorgeous wintry sunrise with rich orange and golden color filling the sky to the south and a lovely pink to the north. The subtle yet powerful sliver of an almost new moon was high in the sky, beckoning us to start fresh.
The flock of seagulls was flying in from the south when they merged with a flock of skimmers. The fluidity of flight as they became one was breathtaking.
They arrived as a massive flock to bathe and rest. Many of them said, “We are very tired and need a safe place to let our guard down to rest. Despite being different kinds of birds, coming together provides us with much needed safety, comfort and connection.”
They went on to say, “For us survival means good self care. We bring the message of tuning into your mind, body and spirit to know what you need at any given moment. You see, we go with the flow of our needs to stay healthy. We might need to catch a quick nap, or a bath, then dart off to grab food.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

New Moon, new dreams
Mother Nature brought us an angelic sunrise this morning with a huge angel shaped cloud on the horizon. Gold light streamed from the clouds filling the morning with a feeling of wonder.
The almost new moon was bright in the sky. Although it is still a few days away now is the time to harness the power of the new moon and fresh starts. This particular moon is assisting us in breaking free of negative patterns so we can have a fish start. This is a good time to release anything holding us back.
The flock of seagulls, herring gulls, ring billed gulls, ruddy turnstones and sand pipers flew in early for bath time despite the cold weather. On the way off the beach I saw a little Lizard who was frozen, that happens here in Florida in the winter, the lizards can ‘fall out’ from the cold.
All they need is a little warmth to thaw and they are good as new. I picked up Lizzie and she went right for my Hot Pocket ( A warm pouch) and spread out. She warmed herself for about 5 minutes then went on her way.
Her message fits perfectly with the almost new moon. She said, “I encourage getting clear about your dreams. Take time to imagine what your heart truly desires. In this moment feel what inspires and energizes you because this is how our dreams are born.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Your unique self has special gifts
I’ve never been so happy to see a fifty shades of grey sunrise. The absence of rain was a huge relief this morning. The sun stayed hidden behind the cloud cover but was able to bring us a little purple passion color for the pre sunrise.
There must have been a thousand birds! Everyone was there, the flock of seagulls, ruddy turnstones, skimmers, ring billed seagulls, herring gulls, Tiger the Heermann’s gull, sand pipers and a couple pelicans.
The flock flew in hot and crazy! They were extra vocal about the weather. During bath time one of the gulls said, “We know it isn’t always convenient to bathe but it is necessary for our health so we make the time.”
Buddy the herring gull flew in with the seagulls looking huge next to them. He brings the message of standing out in a crowd. He said, “Be authentic and bold. Dare to be different, don't hold back, your unique self has special gifts to share.
Wishing you an amazing day friends!

Rainy Day Surf’s Up!
We are having another fifty shades of grey with rain here in sunny Florida. I thought I would share a few surfing photos to bring a fun vibe to your day.
Wishing you a playful day friends!
Dolphins, rainbows brings us magic
WOW! Huge fluffy clouds were soaking up the pastel color show before the sun came up. It was a magical start to the day with a rainbow to the north, dolphins surfing the waves, raindrops falling and our California celebrity bird the Heernman’s gull. I half expected a unicorn to come prancing down the beach.
When I was talking to Tiger, the Heermann’s gull, he leaned in as if saying, “What you are saying is important to to me, I want to hear everything because listening is an important part of connection and care.”
The sun only came up for a few minutes before heading behind the cozy clouds. Dolphins were everywhere, far off leaping out of the water and closer to shore surfing the waves, grabbing snacks and kisses. They were having so much fun!
We have several messages today. The dolphins bring us the message of being fluid. They said, “Instead of structure, we are more fluid with life. We go toward what feeling inspiring and energizing which is why we may be feeding one minute, then surfing the next.”
The loon the dolphins were hanging with brings the message that our wishes and dreams are in the making. Loons ask us to open our minds and hearts, connecting to our Divine Essence to manifest our heart’s desire. The rainbow, a universal sign of hope and peace joined in asking us to keep hope alive.
Wishing you a magical day friends!

Dig deep to reach your goal
With the air temperature being chilly the warmer ocean looked like a giant hot tub emitting steam. The steam reminds us to let out our “steam” so it doesn’t build up like a pressure cooker.
First light filled the sky with a deep orange and golden glow with a chilly coming from the north. The flock of seagulls flew in ready for a warm bath. We enjoyed the warm water so much, we didn’t want to get out. One of the seagulls said, “Take a deep breath, relax your shoulders and lift up. The trick is relaxing so you can truly drink in the moment.”
Piper ( Sandpiper) and Rootie (Ruddy turnstone) were running around with their friends grabbing breakfast. Rootie said, “I find it helpful to dig deep to get your goal. Sometimes, the yummy nuggets may take a little effort to get, but not to worry you can do it.”
Wishing you a warm and cozy day filled with beauty

Going with the flow
Weeeeeeeee! Baby it’s windy outside! The pre sunrise sky was grey with the contrasting white churning ocean waves. The wind was catching the sparkly white mist and tossing it into the sky giving us a beautiful winter landscape.
Eventually a little pink hue emerged which morphed into a golden glow filling the air with warmth.
The flock of seagulls flew in fast and chatty. Bath time was very short today. The seagulls bring a message of timing saying, “It’s about going with the flow, we can get the bugs off later when it’s warmer.”
Surprisingly a pelican flew in to join the flock of seagulls. He brings the message of expecting the unpected connections, they can show up anytime and out of the blue.
Wishing you a beautifully day friends!
Rainy Day Cloud Art
We are having a fifty shades of grey, intense gusts of wind with spitting rain this morning.
One of the many reasons I love the sunrise is seeing the creative cloud formations. It never gets old seeing what or who shows up in the clouds.
I think clouds are one of those things that unifies us. Most people at one point in their life have played the cloud game, it’s a great way to come together in a creative and playful way.
I thought I’d share a few of my favorites. An angel with her feet dangling just above the ocean, a dolphin leaping out of the ocean, a waterspout and 2 bears smooching while holding the sun.
