Grounded Yet Free
Mother Nature brought us a soothing overcast morning with a moody bluesy theme before the sun came up to greet the day. With soft white ethereal cloud cover, the golden globe stayed cozied up behind the horizon’s veil.
A huge flock of laughing gulls was extra chatty, ready for bathtime while watching morning come to life. A reddish egret danced along the shore looking for breakfast, flying often to a new fishing hole.
She said, “I have long legs to keep me grounded while my beautiful wings help me fly with ease. Together, they make it possible for me to move with purpose when I am inspired."
"I use my intuition to know when to stay and when to fly. I am a reminder to trust your balance, being grounded and free, so you can move with purpose when the moment feels right.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Especially when life is stormy soak up the light
Mother Nature brought us a dramatic sunrise with every color in the crayon box and a few new colors. Blue, grey, pink and purple came together creating a stormy looking start to the day.
A line of grey clouds hovered above the ocean with occasional lightening illuminating the inside of the cloud. A very loud and chatty flock was already at the edge of the ocean ready for bath time.
When the sun came up it looked as if it had a halo glowing around the perimeter. It gave the ocean an extra long kiss goodbye as it left for the day.
An egret grabbing breakfast spread her wings and said, “When life is stormy like the sunrise that is when it’s most important to soak up the light.”

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode- Dinner with the Boys
Uncle Larry and Jagger 2 male besties swam into the lagoon for an early evening dinner. Mullet and sheepshead were on the menu. When they weren’t catching fish they were chilling.
Another pod came in for a few minutes to enjoy a quick bite with Uncle Larry before swimming away as fast as they came in.

Launch into what inspires you
The air was cool with a hint of fall on the way, the ocean calm, and the sky glowing pink as the sun came up to greet the day. Clouds cozied up to the rising sun, creating an otherworldly sky for just a few minutes.
A handful of surfers and a solo dolphin rode the perfect waves while Pelican Highway glided northbound in search of breakfast.
After sunrise, a rocket soared into the sky.
The dolphin and the rocket bring us the message today, “Launch into what inspires you and brings you joy. Think outside the box. If you think it you can can create it and have fun in the process.”

Dolphin Surfing
Ride the currents you are drawn to
A salty cool breeze was blowing as perfectly formed waves rolled toward shore. The pre-dawn sky glowed blue and lavender, with Jupiter and Venus shining brightly above.
The chatty flock was a bit smaller this morning but just as eager to get squeaky clean. Sharks swam close to shore in search of breakfast.
As the sun came up the waves soaked up the color sending colorful sparkles into the air like living art.
Pelican Highway traffic was light, moving southbound, wings outstretched, using the waves to carry them with ease.
The pelican in the spray of the wave said, “Ride the currents you are drawn to. Relax your wings, and let the momentum carry you with ease.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Keep the faith
The pre-sunrise sky glowed a soft blue with a hint of pink reflecting on the rippled wet sand. The flock was quiet when they arrived around 6:15, ready to get squeaky clean.
As the sun rose, a rainbow appeared in the west, just like yesterday, but this time its colors were brighter, surrounded in ethereal pink clouds.
Thanks to a passing bike rider, the flock lifted into the sky, circling around the rainbow and sun with wings and hearts wide open. One gull near the rainbow said, “Keep your wings and heart open to receive all the colors and magic life has to offer.”
The rainbow created a subtle twin for a few minutes, gracing the sky for the second day in a row. A rainbow 2 days in a row and today a double, amplifying its message, a powerful reminder for us to keep the faith.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Rainbow, surf and sunshine…trust and possibility
Rainbow, surf and sunshine!
At first light a cool breeze blew feeling gentle yet energizing. Beautiful waves rolled toward shore soaking up the diverse light show as the sun came up behind swirly clouds.
The flock was huge and very chatty while we watched surfers come from every direction for another day of great surfing.
While surfers were sitting on top of the world a rainbow appeared to the west over the river.
The combo reminds us anything is possible. Just like surfers trusting the wave, and rainbows promising beauty after a storm, both remind us to ride life with hope and possibility.
Rainbows and surfers alike remind us that when you follow the flow, magic has a way of showing up.
Wishing you a magical day friends!
Inner strength will carry you even when the waves seem too big
Surfers, Sharks, and Salt Spray
The morning opened with a cloudy, moody blues scene, softened by a faint brush of pink. As the sun broke through, it painted the horizon in golden light, and the salt spray shimmered like tiny crystals carried by the wind.
In the shallows, sharks swam in for breakfast. One passed close by, moving steadily against the current.
She brings us the message today, “Like the surfers paddling out through massive waves, I know when to call on my fighting spirit to move forward. Remember—your inner strength will carry you, even when the waves feel too big to face. You’ve got this.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Dive in, always trusting the path
With a fall-like breeze, the morning felt refreshing as my feet touched the sand. A huge flock swooped in with wings and hearts wide open, ready to welcome a brand-new day.
The sun rose as a soft pink semicircle beneath the clouds before transforming into a golden fireball in the sky. When it was still low on the horizon, I could see shapes of angel people outlined in the light, gentle reminders that our loved ones in spirit are always near.
Surfers came in from every direction—on foot, bike, and car—answering the call of the giant waves. One by one they dropped down the towering walls of water, only to be flung into the air with daring flips and falls, trusting the ocean’s embrace to catch them.
Mother Nature said, "Ride the waves of life with the same courage, sometimes diving in, sometimes soaring high, always trusting that we are held and carried where we are meant to go."
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Lean in and enjoy the ride
With rain, huge waves and clouds the morning was ever changing and beautiful. Mother Nature used every crayon in the box seemingly creating a new color with the mixture.
The huge and chatty flock was on the beach not near the powerful surf, instead choosing to get squeaky clean in a tide pool.
Only a few surfers came to play in the huge waves. With a surfer in the wave you can really see the perspective of size of the waves.
The waves and surfers remind us to go with the flow. Relax and let the waves carry you, no struggle, just lean in and enjoy the ride.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Stay open new opportunities are coming
This morning’s sunrise had it all—clouds, rain, a rainbow, hundreds of birds, and streaming rays of light.
The beach was wing-to-wing with birds, most likely travelers from North Carolina heading south to avoid Hurricane Erin. Big waves rolled in, their tops blown into wisps of sea spray by the breeze, creating beautiful art.
After sunrise, a brief rain shower passed through, followed by a two-minute rainbow arching to the west. Just then, the flock got the zoomies, darting and circling in front of the rainbow as if to gift us a moment of pure magic.
The flock and rainbow bring today’s message of spontaneous new opportunities. The rainbow said, “I often appear after storms as a reminder to keep the faith, even when uncertainty lingers. I am the bridge between challenge and renewal.”
The laughing gulls chimed in, adding, “Stay open to soaking up the colors life offers you. Each hue carries possibility—sometimes subtle, sometimes bold, but always worth noticing.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Harness the elements around you
It was still dark when I walked to the beach, the path lit only by a sliver of moonlight. From a distance, I could already hear the waves churning their way toward shore.
With Hurricane Erin nearly 1,400 miles away, her presence could still be felt in the strength of the ocean’s current. Photos couldn’t capture it—so stay tuned for a video.
As I paused to take in the first light, the flock arrived. On windy mornings they often get the zoomies, and today was one of those days. They hovered in place, letting the wind hold them steady, then darted off and circled back together, moving as one in a breathtaking dance.
The flock embodied the quiet strength of unity in motion. They said, “We are here to encourage harnessing the energy around you. Rather than resisting, flow with the elements of your surroundings, and watch the magic unfold.”

Reflections offer guidance
Mother Nature gifted us with a breathtaking reflective sunrise. A shelf of fluffy clouds lingered over the ocean, soaking up shifting colors for nearly an hour and streaming a funnel of golden light into the morning.
A great morning for the cloud game!
Let your imagination go wild.
The flock was extra chatty and ready for bathtime in the tide pool. Pelican Highway was heavy in both directions.
Courtesy of low tide, the wet sand reflected the breathtaking art on the horizon bringing us the message of the day. “Notice what’s being reflected back to you. Sometimes it’s clarity, sometimes it’s a nudge to make a shift."
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Friday night four of my dolphin friends swam into the lagoon for sunset snacks and a little hang time.
This video starts with them gliding in together, then I introduce each one and show close-ups of their dorsal fins so you can see how I identify them. Each has their own unique look and personality. Hope you enjoy getting to know them!

Pause, ground into the earth
WOW! As I walked to the beach, I was greeted by enormous pink and lavender clouds surrounding Jupiter and Venus, shining like jewels in the dawn sky. Excitement filled the air as the flock was already gathered at the water’s edge, ready for their morning bath.
The wet sand mirrored the masterpiece above, reflecting the colors in a way that made the world feel like a living painting. Pelican Highway was bustling in both directions, while s
sharks glided through the shallows in search of breakfast.
Today’s message comes from Mother Nature herself. “Pause and ground into the earth. Let your bare feet sink into your part of the earth. Breathe in the air. Allow the beauty around you to restore your spirit and remind you that the simplest moments can feed your soul.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Nature’s Toys and a New Baby!
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Nature’s Toys and a New Baby!
Last night the lagoon was full of life with two moms and their little ones, along with several playful male dolphins.
The evening began with Momma D and her calf, joined by a mom I just met and her new baby. The calf’s faint fetal bands—those stripes newborns carry from being curled up inside the womb—were still visible. Over time, those lines gently fade away.
The kiddos kept busy, delighting in nature’s toys, mangrove seeds and floating leaves—while the moms rounded up mullet for dinner. Uncle Larry and Jagger, two males, swam alongside the ladies, lending a fin with babysitting while also snagging their own fish.
As the sun dipped lower, the moms and calves headed out, leaving Uncle Larry and Jagger behind. Soon they were joined by M and Charley, two more males, and the energy shifted. The four bachelors kicked up some serious splashing with vigorous fish-chasing antics to end the evening with a flourish.

Mom and new baby
Jagger is in front, Uncle Larry to right. They were hanging with the moms and kiddos. When I first met Uncle Larry in 2018 he was the male with a maternity pod. He has a number 963 on his dorsal fin - I was able to find out his age from the number- he's around 46 years old.
Spontaneous play To shift your mood
Ahhhhhhh. A salty breeze and a pastel sky filled the morning air thirty minutes before sunrise. It’s been a week of pink rays streaming into the sky, and today didn’t disappoint. The very chatty flock gathered at the shore, ready for a new day and bath time.
As the sun rose, the colors shifted from soft orange to a vibrant gold. A spinner shark leapt in the distance, just before a pair of dolphins swam past in search of breakfast.
One playful dolphin leapt halfway out of the water, bringing the message of play.
She said, “Moments of play can create a shift and lighten your mood. I highly recommend breaking into spontaneous play to feel better.”
Wishing you a playful day friends!
Trust your intuition to see below the surface
As I walked to the beach, the air was still except for frogs chatting in the distance. A soft pink glow filled the pre-dawn sky, stirring anticipation for what was to come.
Pink rays stretched across the blue backdrop with Jupiter and Venus shining high above. The calm ocean glistened in every color of the crayon box as the sun rose, kissing the ocean good bye.
After sunrise at the lagoon, Skylar the osprey lifted from her boat perch and soared toward breakfast. She said, “My ability to spot a fish from a distance reminds you of your own insight to see beyond the surface. Trust your instincts and intuition to guide the way.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
