Be bold
As I walked to the beach the dreamy full moon was floating in and out of the clouds. Pockets of warm and cool air felt nice accompanied by a salty breeze.
The chatty flock flew in loud and ready to chat. One Legger hung above posing for photos while another member of the flock hugged the sung with her wings as the sun came up.
Cotton ball clouds filled the sky soaking up the colors. As the sun came up it looked like red hot steam surrounding the ball of fire.
While walking off the beach, a cardinal suddenly appeared, his vibrant red feathers glowing like a beacon in the soft morning light. From the look in his eyes, it was clear he had something important to share.
“I am a bold red bird,” standing tall and proud. “I embrace my beauty without hesitation. I’m not afraid to be seen—in fact, I welcome it. I’m here to remind you: no one else is quite like you. Be bold. Celebrate who you are and let your unique light shine.”
Wishing you a bold and beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Full Moon Shenanigans
It was an action packed day in the lagoon starting with the Moms and their kiddos. After a few minutes more dolphins showed up and 15 pelicans! Fish were flying, dolphins were speeding and jumping and the pelicans were in the mix like professional athletes.
Actually the pelicans scored quite a few fish from the dolphins today. If there was a scoreboard for dolphin versus pelicans, it would have been a close game.
A boater full of fishermen came in and parked in the feeding area so the moms packed up the kids and left but Charley and M, 2 male dolphins stayed...more from them soon!

Lead with your heart and ride the energy
With a little nip in the air the morning was crisp and refreshing. The full moon was high in the sky illuminating the morning before the sun came up to greet the day.
Wind blew the tops of the waves as they rolled toward shore, sending white sparkly mist into the air that looks like Florida Snow. Pelican Highway was off on the horizon gliding past the streaming rays of gold sunbeams.
The full supermoon this month is situated in the sky bringing an infusion of energy to release doubt, step outside your comfort zone and grab your heart’s desires.
A very chatty flock of laughing gulls and a couple herring gulls flew in to connect. Buddy the herring gull brings the message today. “The energy of the moon may feel quite intense and amplify your emotions. You got this, stay open, lead with your heart and ride the energy. Be open to the adventure guiding you to new horizons.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
PS~. I'll be at Outriggers Tiki bar and Grille tomorrow from 12-4 with calendars, coasters, ornaments and Pips Fishy Adventure. All my frames at Outriggers will be on sale as well!

Patience….things are unfolding
A chilly breeze blew in from the north as I walked to the beach. Layered clouds hung over the shoreline causing me to doubt if we would see a sunrise. Soft grey and pink color emerged before the sun found a way through the clouds.
Perfect waves rolling toward shore soaked up the light while the wind blew the tops of the waves sending salty spray into the air.
Mother Nature brings us the message of patience. “Eventually the sun will find a way through to shine warmth. The sun reminds us, “Trust the timing. Whatever it is you are striving for, take a deep breath and relax into the moment. I am a reminder that this moment is creating your next moment. It’s all unfolding and can be even better than you expected.”

Let curiosity show you a different perspective
The pre sunrise sky filled with clouds soaking up a pastel color show. The pink was most definitely the highlight of the morning.
A chatty and loud flock flew in using the wind to hold hang in place while the storm sunrise was unveiled.
While the flock was squawking and carrying on, a reddish ogre flew in to see what the noise was all about. She glided over to get a better look, brining wither the message of the day. She said, “I highly recommend being curious. No matter your age, let yourself be inquisitive. It’s a fun way to see life through a different lens.”

Be open to unexpected encounters
Weeeeeeeeeee! The wind was whipping this morning as the sun came up to greet the day. The sunrise was filled with all kinds of birds, sand pipers, red knots, laughing gulls, herring gulls, a solo black back, ospreys, pelicans and even vultures!
The flock of gulls used the wind to hang in place when they weren’t darting off and back in a flurry. Buddy the herring gull was hanging in place when the wind blew him right toward me so I could get his close up. He said, “Be open to spontaneous and unexpected encounters.”
After the golden sun was up the red knots came racing by in perfect formation. The way they make sharp turns, darting here and there, at mach speed never bumping into each other is truly amazing. They remind us about synergy. “We know tuning into each other and flying as one is how we travel with less effort. And look how beautiful we are flying in unison.”

Buddy is a hering gull who returns every year this time. This year he has a doppelgänger, still trying a get a photo of them together.
Buddy and a Laughing gull bring us the message similar to yesterday. They remind us to lift each other up. As you can see the flow is watching, so they added, “Lead by example, you never know who is learning from you.”
A flock of red knots flew in after the sunrise showing the beauty of flight with their wings open soaking up the light. May you day be filled with beautiful light too!

Inspire with your open heart
Mother Nature brought us a hazy start to the day with salty fog hovering over the shoreline. The flock flew in early with Pixar ready to dance start the day.
The rest of the flock was very chatty and hungry. There were several high speed chases over breakfast. One of the younger laughing gulls scored a big fish bringing us the message of biting off more than you chew. She said, “Sure it’s a big fish, but I’m confident in my abilities, I just need to take my time.”
Buddy the herring gull and another laughing gull showed the flock how to keep their wings open and lead with their hearts. They said, “We are here to encourage being open as a way to inspire others.”

Love the one you are with
Inhale, Exhale, Repeat. With a light breeze and gorgeous color show, the sunrise was beautiful and restorative. The sky filled with a pink glow as I walked to the beach filled with anticipation, excited to see what masterpiece Mother Nature would bring us today.
The flock flew in shortly after I arrived. Skimmers, ruddy turnstones, herring gulls and sandpipers joined the flock of laughing gulls.
A solo skimmer who was getting squeaky clean touched her beak to her reflection reminding us of the song, “Love the one you are with.” She said, “Fall deeper in love with your reflection, the love will act like a magnet to draw in more love and support.”

See each other
Mother Nature brought us a wonderful sunrise with fluffy clouds, a soft breeze and sweet colors. The pre sunrise sky had a soft glow promising to bring a beautiful start to the day.
The sun came up illuminating the channel marker reminding us to look for the illuminated path. The chatty flock flew in as the sun was coming up and danced around the big ball of light with glee.
One Legger flew over for a close up. You can see his sweet personality. He said, “I’m here to encourage seeing our flock mates through their eyes. Like the saying goes, you can see the soul through the eyes. And it’s a great way to feel connected.”

Nature and Beauty can give us a boost
First light was spectacular! A layer of pink fluffy clouds soaked up the beautiful pink color giving us a breathtaking sky. A wispy cloud shaped dolphin flew in from the south hovering above the beautiful sky.
The sun stayed hidden behind the clouds. When the pink faded it left behind a grey and moody blusey kind of sky.
The message today comes form the color show from the pre sunrise sky reminding us to find the beauty. Mother Nature reminds us that nature and beauty can help us relax and gives us an endorphin boost to shift our mood.
Since it was dark and steamy, I thought I’d share a couple wildlife photos from sunset last night. The young pelican flew in with his wings open, ready for his photoshoot.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
I’ll be at grand opening of The Gray Room tonight as a vendor. It is a new venue on Canal Street, new Smyrna Beach. Tonight there will be live music by Lucy Spotts. Sure to be a fun night! 4:00pm is ribbon cutting. Event goes until 7:00 pm
Grounded, solid and strong
Salty haze hung over the shoreline as the pink sky lit up the morning 30 minutes before the sunrise. A chat flock of gulls flew at their usual time to get squeaky clean.
The pink sky changed to a gold and blue sky reflecting on the wet sand while One Legger did a few minutes of bird yoga. He said, “Grounding into my leg helps me be solid and strong. Being balanced makes me able to handle any external elements that come my way.”
After sunrise a pod of dolphins were snuggling toward the middle of the Indian River. They chimed in adding, “Snuggling and playing with your pod mates can increase your endorphins. Join us and enjoy a few minutes of play to improve your mood and create a shift.”

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - 12 seconds...Dolphin Chases Mullet at the Camera with 2 pelicans.
A pod of male dolphins were in the lagoon feeding. 2 dolphins headed toward the camera chasing mullet with 2 pelicans tailgating.
Like the pelicans I have to choose which dolphins to follow to get the video or photograph. In this video, one dolphin went left but the other dolphins headed ight for the camera -so I whipped to the right to catch him just a few feet away. Sorry for the whiplash.

Guideposts change but always where we need them
A golden glow filled the sky before the sunrise when the flock flew in from the north. The flock was huge with all the friends, including, Peg, One Legger, Bob and Pixar. They were loud and even more engaging.
The channel marker that moved during hurricane Milton was close to the sunrise bouncing around in the waves, bringing us one of the messages today. It reminds us that guideposts may move around but they are always where we need them even in the unexpected locations.
After sunrise I ran into a mockingbird who I see most mornings. Usually she flys right into her home but tomorrow she was up for posing for a photoshoot. She said, “I am a bird of song and communication. Use your intuition to know how to share your heart’s desire. Sure you can copy others like I do, but it’s fun when you find your very own song and sing it loud.”

Stretch to open your heart
Weeeeeeeeee! The wind was whipping making the flock of laughing gulls very frisky! They were using the wind to hang in place while they squawked.
They sky filled with a gold blaze as the sun came up from behind the clouds on the horizon. The ocean churned with power while Pelican Highway stayed high in the sky using the thermals to glide down the beach.
After sunrise a young pelicans was taking time to get squeaky clean. After some much needed wing slapping on the water to get the bugs off he stood up tall and gave himself a good stretch.
He said, “Getting the bugs and tension off through a good stretch is how I stay healthy. I recommend slowing it down, take a deep breath and put your wings back and open your heart. It’s a great way to show off your beauty.”

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Mine, Mine, Mine
A pelican grabbed a fish about a half of football field away, then flew right over to show off his huge fish. At first he had a stick in his gullet along with the fish. Skillfully he spit out the stick while keeping the fish safe in the pouch.
Getting the stick out seemed to get the attention of the other pelicans who came over and attempted to steal away the catch. The original pelican was not having it, he flew a few feet several times to get away from the pursuers. He stayed close looking at the camera several times posing with pride.
It took about 20 minutes of defensive maneuvers before he got the whopper down the hatch. Phew! Never a dull moment.
