Laughter creates a shift
With a heavy layer of grey clouds, the sunrise stayed dark and cozy. Eventually a little pink color came through mixing with the grey to bring a purple color theme.
The flock flew in at their usual time but it was too dark to snap their photos, but they said hello!
After sunrise, Rusty the pelican and his friends came over to say hello along with Charley and M - 2 male dolphins.
Charley and M are a lot of fun, engaging with the camera and showing off their playful personalities. Charley has a personality like a jokester, it’s true most of the dolphin know how to play. Charley has a personality much like a stand up comedian, as if he is always trying get a few laughs. He reminds us to giggle to create a shift.

Balance with Solo time and teamwork
Ahhhhhhhhh, Mother Nature brought us a crisp and beautiful sunrise. Wind was blowing the tops of the waves into the air adding to the beauty of the morning.
There was just a hint of a an orange glow when the flock flew in for our morning connection time.
A flock of red knots were already waiting at the edge of the ocean when the flock flew in. They are large sandpipers who move in synch as a group. They bring the message of teamwork and using the power of a flock to reach your goal.
In contrast a solo pelican was looking for breakfast. She said, “Sometimes I like to get off the Pelican Highway and fly on my own. A solo flight and dive gives me a sense of inner peace and confidence. When I’m ready, I rejoin the flock, so just like the red knots, I can be a part of a team.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Sunset with Dolphins
Good Morning! The rain is gone but skies are still very grey and stormy. I thought a little dolphin sunset series would be a nice way to start the day.

Improvise
Rain drops kept falling on my head as I walked to the beach. The wind was whipping and the ocean was churning with intensity. Huge clouds filled the sky soaking up the pastel colors. For about 5 minutes we had a dramatic pink blast of color before it disappeared.
Purple streaming rain was all around when the flock flew in to say hello and get squeaky clean.
To keep the cameras dry I only snapped a couple photos today, so I am improvising adding a few photos from previous days bringing us the message of being creative.
Two egrets remind us to dance like no-one is watching. Kiss and hug because it’s fun!
Wishing you a day filled with fun!

Before first light
A pink color blast lasted for just a couple minutes this morning.
The slightest shift can illuminate the hidden
With a heavy blanket of clouds, it was dark and cozy this morning. Instead of fifty shades of grey photos, the gulls inspired me to share a few of my favorites.
The flock continues to show me how to keep my heart open despite daily obstacles. They bring the message of looking at life from a different perspective, just the slightest shift can bring light to something previously hidden.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Utilize the resources around you
At first light the sky filled with a sultry purple glow, morphing to a breathtaking pink before the sun came up changing the landscape to a golden glow.
The chatty flock flew in when it was still dark using the wind to hang in place while we connected. They started the themed message of utilizing the resources around you, even the ones that seem unlikely.
They said, ‘Sure the wind is intense but we know how to use it to our advantage. You see, normally hovering in place takes a lot of effort but when the wind is strong, all we have to do is hold our wings out and with a lit flap we can hold still.”
After sunrise, a pod of dolphins and a couple pelicans were grabbing breakfast in between white caps. The pelican said, “I agree with the gulls. The dolphin are a great resource for me. Sometimes they toss me a fish, other times I am able to catch a fishy swimming away.”
Wishing you a day with unexpected resources!

Celebrate the everyday tasks
With nippy wind coming from the night and golden sunbeams catching the waves the sunrise was dramatic and gorgeous wintry sunrise.
The flock flew in from the south at their usual time, using the wind to hang in place and connect. One legger came in close enough to bump the camera and give a little kiss.
Two of the other gulls getting squeaky clean gave us a touchdown pose reminding us to celebrate the mundane. They said, “Celebrating the everyday tasks makes life more fun.”
When the sun came up, gold light streamed though the clouds shining a light on the waves. Mother Nature said, “Enjoy the waves of life. It’s true, sometimes the waves feel like they keep coming but not to worry, calmer waters are on the way.”
One legger said, “Keep the faith, you are stronger than you think.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
I love you

Keep your chin up
Mother Nature used fog and clouds to give us a cozy and dark, moody blues kind of sunrise. A couple of surfers were out at first light enjoying get stillness of the morning.
One of the surfers with the channel marker brings us the message of looking for the signs along the way to guide you. When It’s foggy, stretch your shoulder back and let your heart feel the way.
The flock was very chatty and let me get down low with them. They said, “We encourage keeping your beak up. Just one of us can set off a chain reaction to inspire keeping your chin up. Keep the faith, whatever is on your mind will work out.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

New starts in love, beauty and abundance
Ahhhhh, with a layer of warm salty fog the morning felt like a soft place to land and relax. Big fluffy clouds helps the sun with care as they raised it up to greet the day bringing golden rays of light.
The almost new moon (December 12) was in conversation with Venus in the pre dawn sky. The energy of a new moon brings new beginnings. With Venus near by the 2 ask us to let go of anything in the way of fresh starts with love, beauty and abundance.
They said, “Use our power to release any blocks and open your heart to sweet fresh starts.”
An egret flew in, walked right over to hang out and enjoy the sunrise. She said, “I’m a reminder to be open to spontaneous new connections. You never know when a new person or opportunity can pop in, ushering in new experiences.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
Use the waves of life to motivate you
With warmer temperatures and a light breeze, the morning was extra soothing, you know the kind that makes you feel peaceful and easy on the inside.
The chatty and loud flock flew in at their usual time to say hello and get squeaky clean. When a bike rode by they spooked and flew in front of the sun in close formation encouraging us to stick together for comfort.
They said, “We flock together for lots of reasons but one is we feel safer together. Closeness helps us feel secure and protected.”
Ruddy Tootie, a ruddy turnstone zipped by with a pep in her step saying, “Use the waves coming toward you to motivate you. Sure they can be fast and daunting but you are strong and powerful and more resilient than you know.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Hanging with Momma Jade and Baby Opal
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Hanging with Momma Jade and Baby Opal
This is how relaxing a day with Momma Jade and her baby Opal can be. Eddy the pelican and a mature pelican were hanging out too, hoping Jade would toss them a fish. There was a lot of noise this day so I switched to relaxing music to cover up the construction noise. Stay tuned for more tales!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Momma, Can I Meet Your Baby?
Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Momma, Can I Meet Your Baby?
If you are just tuning in, over the past 5 years I have met so many wonderful dolphin friends. Momma Jade was the second Mom dolphin I got to know in 2019. I will always remember the day I met Baby Ruby.
It was a beautiful day in April when I said, “Hey Momma! Can I meet you baby?” A couple minutes later, Momma Jade come to grab a fish on my left about 6 feet away. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something else….it was baby Ruby who popped up, landed on her mom and they swam by! I squealed with excitement.
As you can see baby Ruby is super cute and expressive. She and her mom were inseparable, always hugging and kissing, rolling around on each other sharing the love.
When Momma Jade showed up with another baby in 2022, I said it again, “Momma, Cana I meet your baby?” She and Baby Opal were in front of me when Momma emerged from under water with little Opal on her back, introducing us. Another squealing moment for sure.
Stay tuned for more tales!

Celebrate your wins, both big and small
Mother Nature brought us a light streaming, heart opening, gorgeous sunrise. Waves churned toward shore soaking up the raining golden beams while pelican highway flew northbound.
The chatty and large flock flew in early when it was still dark. We took in the beautiful sunrise together while getting squeaky clean.
The clouds were layered like a cake soaking up the light. At one point it looked like a pair of golden eyes peered through adding to the powerful vibe.
While we were watching the drama unfold, an osprey came flying down the beach screeching and carrying a massive fish. She was very proud of her catch saying, “ I highly recommend celebrating your wins, both large and small. You never know who you might inspire.”
Wishing you a beautiful day feeling inspired!
Be in the moment ready to fly
With crisp air and cool temperatures, the flock was extra frisky this morning when they flew in for bath time. Swirly clouds and low tide added to the beauty and serene vibe.
2 reddish egrets dropped in to enjoy the sunrise. One of them walking slowly said, “I highly recommend slowing down, one step at a time to soak in the moment.”
A solo pelican and sailboat on the horizon added to the message reminding us to go with the flow. Just like the wind carries us, let the energy transport you on your path. If there is a lull in the flow, follow the advice of the egret and be in the moment ready to fly when the time arrives.”

Loving yourself sends out ripples to inspire others
As soon as my feet hit the sand my body relaxed seeing the vast beautiful sky filled with pink and purple clouds over the calm ocean. Low tide brought us a reflective and serene vibe to start the day.
The very chatty flock flew in for our usual bath time. One of the gulls was getting squeaky which sent out ripples in the water. At first, just one gull joined in, then another and soon a bunch of gulls were flapping in the water sending out a huge ripple circle.
They said, “We highly recommend inspiring others by taking care of yourself. You see, loving yourself sends out waves to others. Your love ripples can motivate someone else.”
After sunrise a high speed chase ensued over a little fish. Several birds chased the one bird with the golden morsel. The initial bird dropped the fish bringing us another message.
She said, “It’s true, sometimes the goal may seem elusive or slip away. Not to worry, if it yours to have, it will return or something even better will show up.”
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Trust in the timing
Ahhhhhh, Mother Nature brought us a sweet and salty reflective sunrise. First light brought us a pink and purple color show that slowly morphed into a mix of gold and grey.
The flock flew in when it was still dark and stayed until the sun came up. A couple of gulls doing their daily self care said, “Remember pulling out the old feathers makes room for the new. Just the smallest removal can create the shift you are looking for.”
Several sailboats and surfers were enjoying the calm morning. Both sailing and surfing remind us to go with the flow of the energy. The sweet spot of momentum comes from the alignment of the waves of wind. Trust in the timing, everything is working out.
Wishing you a beautiful day friends!
