Twirl and savor the moment

Mother Nature was showing off today bringing us a gorgeous and serene sunrise. As I walked to the beach I saw a cloud shape resembling a bird soaring across the sky. It made me think Pip the Pelican was letting us know he is good. I’m certain he would remind us to twirl to keep the joy flowing.

The ocean temperature was warm and felt soft as the waves rolled by. The waves were having fun, splashing and creating lovely water art.

Lots of fish and few sharks were grabbing breakfast in the waves. The shark said, “There are many opportunities all around, stay focused and take action when you feel inspired. Trust your gut to know when to strike.”

A beautiful egret was grabbing breakfast in the tide pool. She said, “I’m a reminder to slow down, stay grounded to savor the moment. You see, this moment is creating your next moment, so being fully here right now will help you manifest your heart’s desires.”

Within you a gorgeous day!

This is from a very overcast sunset a couple nights ago. M, a male dolphin swam by this kayaker kicking it and left behind his shape in the water. I’ve seen a lot of dolphin art, but never their shape. :)

Let the flow support you

With a refreshing breeze, calm ocean and sweet colors, Mother Nature brought us a restorative sunrise.

The ocean waves rolling toward shore were soaking up the sparkly light while the clouds hugged the moon with a warm embrace.

Tide pools offered the gulls a calm place for bath time and created a nice photo opportunity too.

After sunrise, eddy the pelican flew over to say hello! I hadn’t seen him in weeks so this was a lovely surprise. It was like we never missed a day as he paddled around in circles saying hello. He brings the message of sweet and spontaneous connections showing up to bring a smile.

He also said as he glided by, “Us pelicans know how to use the wind to carry us with ease. The key is to align with the energy and let the flow support you.”

Wishing you a day in the flow friends!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Rainy Day Fun!

Tales from the Lagoon ~ Episode - Rainy Day Fun!

These photos are from a few weeks ago on a day when it was raining on and off with overcast skies but the party was too fun to miss.

A pod of male dolphins including Cutter and Charlie, came in to play along with 15 pelicans. The pelicans were scorning mullet like professional athletes. The dolphins were good sports not getting frustrated with the big birds hovering and diving on top of them.

Always fun to watch them interact and grab snacks!

Stay tuned for more tales!

One step at a time

Mother Nature brought us a serene pastel sunrise using the wet sand to create an expansive, masterful painting. The ocean was calm like a lake adding to the serene vibe.

The ocean temperature was warm and felt soft as the gentle waves rolled by close to shore. The moon was lit up like a glowing ball high in the sky.

After sunrise I ran into a green heron who brings us the message today. He said, “When the path is uphill and a little slippery, take it one step at a time. Putting one foot in front of the other, nice and easy, will give you solid footing to reach the top.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Our angel loved ones are all around

WOW! With the full moon high in the sky, gorgeous color show, and soft clouds, the morning was extra special.

The ocean soaked up the pink, lavender and blue pre sunrise colors as the waves rolled toward shore.

As the sun came up I could see a person walking from right to left across the sun. I’ve seen this several times over the years, many times it looks like several people are hanging out at the sun, but today was the first time someone waved! Can you see him/her?

The person in the sun said, “I’m here to remind you that your angel loved ones are all around to connect. You are not alone. Keep your hearts open and let the love flow freely.”

Wishing you a wonderful day friends!

Time to prepare for changes

The quiet was palpable as I watched the moon set over the the river 45 minutes before the sunrise. A deep red glow filled the sky at first light illuminating the setting moon.

This full moon is actually a supermoon which means you may feel its effects even more. The moon is situated in the sky to encourage us to connect to our hearts more than ever.

The moon says, “I’m here to encourage you to tune in, rest and nurture your mind, body and soul. This is time to prepare for upcoming changes that are both expected and unexpected.”

A hawk who found breakfast in the dunes added to the message saying, “I’m here to encourage seeing things from a different perspective. Use your power of observation and focus to know how to honor your heart and soar higher.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

A tribute to Pip the Pelican

I am sad to share that it appears Pip the Pelican has crossed the rainbow bridge. I met him March 23, 2022 and since then haven't gone longer than 5 days without seeing him. The last day I saw him was June 10, 2023.

Over the past couple months he visited daily. He was struggling quite a bit, dizzy and not as strong, definitely wobbly. My guess is he had the bird flu. I was giving him some food to help give him a boost. I knew around June 8 when he wasn't eating much, he was getting ready to go. I also had a dream he was getting ready to cross over.

Spending the last year and half with him was truly amazing. Having a relationship with a pelican was like no other relationship I have ever had. bHe helped my heart expand with his love and desire to connect. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to call him my friend. We enjoyed walks together, chasing fish, playing fetch with sticks and just hanging out. I will miss his sweet eyes and friendship.

I still can't believe he flew home to NSB from St. Augustine when he was released from the rehab center. I am glad he is no longer suffering and is flying free!

I hope you enjoy the tribute video made by Brent Eite with Focal Point Videography. In the video you can see how much he changed in just a year and a half. It was like he was on an accelerated journey.

Thank you for all the support and love you gave him! I'm certain he felt your support and appreciated your love!

I'm also certain he would say the key to happiness is a good twirl and fish! He has his very own gallery on my website if you want to check him out. https://www.shelleylynchphotos.com/pip-the-pelican

open to changing directions

So many people out to see the beautiful sunrise today! It started with a sweet pink and blue color show, changing to a golden glow as the sun came up behind the clouds to bring us a gorgeous beginning.

Pelican Highway traffic was heavy stopping close by for a snacks. A pelican stopped nearby to surf and grab fish at the same time. He said, “I highly recommend playing in the waves while grabbing snacks.”

After sunrise I ran into a bunch of dragonflies eating a swarm of bugs.

They bring the message of change and transformation. They said, “We are here to encourage being in the moment, open to changing directions quickly when you feel inspired. When you stop to rest, relax your grip to feel steady and solid.”

Just keep swimming

Another gorgeous spring time sunrise courtesy of a sweet color show, light breeze and Sahara sands. A small flock of gulls flew in to say good morning and get squeaky clean.

The ocean temperature was perfect making it fun to get get in the waves and snap a few photos. A shark was also in the waves looking for breakfast. She said, “I’m here to remind you to keep moving forward. Just keep swimming, you’ll find your way.”

When the sun came up, it filled the sky with a vibrant orange glow brining warmth and promise of a new day.

Enjoy the lull

Ahhhhh, Mother Nature brought us a magical pretty in pink sunrise.  The ocean was calm except for perfect waves rolling toward shore soaking up the light show.

Pelican Highway traffic was heavy heading southbound stopping often for snacks in the waves.  Surfers were coming from every nook and cranny to enjoy the pelicans in the waves.

One of the surfers waiting on a wave brings us the message of patience and timing.  Enjoy the lull between waves, for the quiet in waiting can be restorative.

After sunrise while walking the docks a couple dolphin came over to say hello before moving on.  The dolphin said, “I’m here to remind you to be open to spontaneous connections.  Like the osprey said the other day, quick connections can be just as powerful as long standing relationships.”

Wishing you a beautiful day friends!

Pelican Pouch

I'm away from the sunrise today so I thought sharing some fun pelican photos would be a nice way to start the day.

This series highlights their gullet, a stretchy pouch used to catch fish.

What I learned from them this year is they will pick up all kinds of stuff, like trash, seaweed, leaves, and even oyster shells swish it around like they are taste testing then spit it out if it isn't edible.

eye contact can exchange energy while creating closeness

Inhale, Exhale, Repeat.

Another pretty in pink sunrise with the sun looking like a hot air ballon as it came up tot greet the day. Pelican Highway traffic was jamming heading south bound gliding over the perfect waves rolling toward shore.

The flock of gulls flew in ready to connect and get squeaky clean. An osprey flying northbound looking for fish hovered above looking for fish said, “I bring the message of the power of eye contact. You see, it’s true looking into the eyes of another can bring closeness.”

“Even just a quick connection with eye contact can exchange energy while creating closeness.”

Lean back and enjoy

Mother Nature brought us a pretty in pink kind of sunrise with just a few wispy clouds and a calm ocean. The sun came up looking like a hot air balloon as it kissed the ocean good bye for the day.

The flock of gulls flew in chatty and ready for bath time. One of the gulls leading the way, kicked his little feet out and leaned back saying, “Lean back and enjoy the ride.”

We hit the water for baths time to get the bugs off. They said, “Every day we take a little time to get squeaky clean to support our immune system so we can stay healthy.”

Balance Strength and sensitivity

AHHHHHHHH, Mother Nature brought us a reflective sunrise using the wet sand to double the beautiful display of colors and clouds.

Wispy clouds soaked up the rainbow of colors while perfect wave rolled toward shore calling to the the surfers to come play.

A pretty large shark was grabbing breakfast in the shallows bringing us the message of balancing strength and sensitivity.

She said. “I’m here to encourage you to use your inner power to move forward. If you are unsure of how to move forward, explore your environment, use your sensitivities to collect information so you can strike when you feel inspired.”

You have the resources to dig deep

A momma loggerhead turtle just finished laying her eggs as the first glimpse of light appeared. The light stayed low and cozy courtesy of a layered clouds that felt like a cozy blanket.

Momma was definitely the highlight of the morning as she made her way back to the ocean. She brings the message of inspiration, perseverance and pacing yourself.

She said, “Trekking up to the dunes and back is no easy journey, but I know I have to get my future kiddos in the safest location possible. I’m here to remind you to go one step at a time. Rest when you need it, but most important know you have the resources to dig deep when you need it.”

Thank you Momma for inspiring me! It is truly an honor to meet such a wise and beautiful soul.
