Be present in the body to heal

Yesterday’s rain left behind cooler air and a whipping wind.

The bright full moon cozied up to passing clouds as the sun rose to greet the day.

At one point, the sun hovered just above a pyramid-shaped cloud… adding to the wonder of the morning.

The ocean churned with intensity, while wet sand reflected the powerful drama unfolding. Several laughing gulls and three herring gulls gathered at the water’s edge, getting squeaky clean.

One herring gull, who appears to have an oil gland issue, brings us the message today.

He said, “I look like I’m wet all the time as my feathers look wet all the time. What I know is this process might take time. The key for me is to be present and trust my body. Sometimes the work is simply to stand where you are…and allow the body, and life, to do what they know how to do.”

Wishing you a beautiful day, friends
